hi.

okay so i've gotta start by saying i'm really really sorry for not updating in ages. i said in the community section a while ago that i was going to eventually update even though i was really busy, but i'm gonna be completely honest here: i don't think that's ever going to happen.

so i decided to log on for the last time, and update all my fics with this sort of conclusion.

i still had a lot of plans for this story, and it hurts me that i just don't have the motivation to write it. like i said, i sort of fell out of the harry potter fandom. i love the characters, i love the oc's i've created and the plots i wrote, but it's just not the same anymore. 

however, i do still want to share what i have left for this story, and any last details that i really wish i could've shared through actual writing.

5th year:

- i ended the story at mr. weasley's incident, so i'm just gonna move forward to the battle of the department of mysteries. i actually was rlly proud of what i was going to do so SPOILER: i was 100% gonna make sirius die. sorry (not rlly sorry) 

- basically, astra takes arithmetic classes, so her OWL's schedule would be different from the others. no one would care for watching harry take some exams, so his side of the story would all be the same. obviously hermione would want to find astra, so would the others, but in the end harry's too worried so they go with him. marlene or someone else (maybe even regulus, i'm not sure) would see this and warn astra, she'd find snape who already knows. the others would've already left, and she would be told to be left behind, but she'd go anyway.

- when reaching the department of mysteries, she sees sirius falling through the veil (getting another vision at some point), but doesn't realize he died. she gets the realization from seeing harry and remus' reactions. 

- then we'd get a mini fight between astra and bellatrix, she'd also go off on fudge, and that's pretty much it.

- and lastly, she'd find harry at the clocktower before the feast. that's when she'd tell him about everything, they'd get a bonding moment. i know that i actually had a really detailed idea of what this scene was going to be, but ngl i completely forgot :/

6th year:

- okay i also can't really remember if i had anything planned for the summer but this is where horcruxes come in. now, i said in one of the very early chapters that in this au, regulus doesn't know that the locket was a horcrux, just that it was very important to voldermort. obviously this doesn't make sense but i had a plot hole and i really didn't know how to solve it :(

- she'd probably stay at the weasleys, but in the end she'd also convince dumbledore that she's just as much of an order member as any of the others, so she'd also spend a lot of time at hogwarts with the others. 

- she'd learn what horcruxes are and help dumbledore find them, still doesn't trust him completely though. dumbledore still gets his hand ruined bc he's an idiot

- anyway i probably had a lot planned for this year, but i rllly can't remember it rn :/ i do know that regulus is back a lot in the story again, and when it comes to the end of the year, they aren't able to stop the plan.
