Notes- Things you should know...

The female character has no descriptions on purpose. I didn't want to do a reader fic but also wanted it to be open for those that prefer readers.

The title come from this quote "She looked daisy safe, but smelled rose wild." - Wyatt.

Her last name means "stubborn."

This is a full on AU...NO MENTIONS OF MCU AT ALL. This turned out a lot softer than I anticipated but I really like it. I hope you do too. If you do please let me know with a comment. I am pretty proud of this one.

He knew she was here. He could detect her scent a gentle perfume of vanilla, rose, and pear with a hint of an essence that was purely her hiding beneath the bouquet of pine, moss, and dirt that surrounded him. How she had gotten this far was beyond him.

Holed away in the mountains during the off-season, it took Steve Rogers weeks to find the property that had somehow been purchased in her name. Omegas weren't allowed to own property. They were meant to be owned. And she was meant to be his.

The moment he had seen her presented at a debutante ball, he had wanted her. Of all the omegas presented that night, she was the only one who met his eyes, holding his gaze, provoking him from across the room before being sequestered away from the party. He had to have her.

After months of negotiations with her father, he'd finally secured what he desired for the last year. The one made for him. His mate. His omega.

Then she disappeared.

One had to admire Daisy Terrell's spirit, but she'd been indulged too long. It was time for her to be taught where she belonged. To whom she belonged. Steve was eager to be the one to teach her that. Repeatedly. Until she finally understood.

She would accept his claim. His mark. His sovereign dominance over her. Mind, body, and soul.

The cabin was secluded. It had been a part of the adjoining property, boasting a chalet that hosted the most privileged of society in winter. Once a home for servants, the previous owners sold it, opting to construct a new building closer to their residence to ensure round-the-clock attendance. It would have been the perfect hiding place. If only Steve didn't have access to the private files and finances of her father. It took a while to find this address as it was not under her father's name, business, or any of his many shell companies but hidden in a charity front often used as a project for his wife to dabble in society.

While it was perfectly legal for Terrel's wife to help organize charity events, it seemed his sweet little runaway didn't fall too far from the tree if her mother somehow managed to squirrel this cabin away for her daughter without anyone figuring it out. But Steve loved a challenge.
