Tony couldn't close his eyes as usual. Too many thoughts. Steve was here. Bucky was here. What was he thinking? How desperate did he have to be?

Before him was the blueprint for Bucky's arm prosthesis and some Hydra data. Bucky's trigger words. Research revealed a possibility for Tony to bring Bucky back after a possible seizure. He would discuss this with him. It would not be right to keep this a secret from him.

Tony rubbed his eyes, turned off the holograms and instructed FRYDAY to show him the current status of the suits from Steve and Natasha. Both suits were darker and different than usual. No wonder, he thought. They were forced to go into hiding. Tony had an analysis drawn over the pieces of textile. There wasn't much that could have been improved, but he already had an idea that he immediately began to record.

"Boss, Ms. Romanoff requests your presence in the living area.", It rang out in the laboratory.

With an annoyed sigh, Tony sat back and finished all of his work."Why would Miss Romanov want to see me so late?"

"Boss, it's already 9:30 am."

"What?! Oh ... ", he startled.

He got up and turned to the elevator. He was a bit shaky on his legs and his vision was also slightly blurred. He clearly needed some sleep or something to eat. Yes, food sounded good, he thought. When he arrived in the living area, an angry redhead stood in front of him with her arms crossed.

"You will probably never change?", She said annoyed.

Tony wanted to make a casual joke, until everything went black and he collapsed in front of her. Before his head could hit the ground, Natasha held her hand protectively under it.

"Steve, quick! Help me! ", She called.

Steve, who was clearing the dishes from breakfast with Bucky, only looked questionably at the voice before he noticed who was lying on the floor. Leaving everything behind, he hurried to her."What happened ?!" he asked, visibly worried.

"He went through the night again. I should ask his AI to give him an electric shock every time he works overtime. "

Steve carefully took the body in his arms and hugged it tightly. He carried him into the room across from Bruce from the living area. His "room" was laid out more like an apartment. Tony had a small hallway with one door leading to his bedroom, another to a bathroom, and another to his study. He still remembers how hastily he discussed with Nat and she didn't force him to make a kitchen out of it, so that at least they would all see each other while eating. Steve went into his bedroom. Everything was neat and looked untouched. How long did Tony not sleep in this bed? The answer was obvious, however. He laid Tony on the soft white and gold bed and put a cozy red blanket over him, which he found at the foot of the bed. His eyes fell on the pictures on the wall across from the bed, which hung over a light brown chest of drawers.

They were photos of the Avengers. Photos of how they tried to cook together, how they went to a movie night, how they tried to play Twister and more. And then there was the drawing. Steve's eyes involuntarily glued to them and he thought his heart had stopped for a second. It was the picture he drew for Tony. He gently stroked the glass surface in front of the picture. For him, Tony hadn't lost any of its beauty, but there was something about his expression that was different, sadder and more exhausted.

He sat down with him on the bed and gently brushed a few hairs back from his face. That feeling in him did not go away. And will probably not go away either. Never. He sighed heavily and left the room, not realizing that Tony opened his eyes when the door was closed and grimaced bitterly as he buried himself deeper in the ceiling.
