Ok so like 1 person requested it and it is enough for me!
DISCLAIMER: I am not a fashion historian or expert. I just like researching fashion history in my free time.
Philip Wittebane claims he is from the 1600s. So I did so research because I was curious what year. But the only clues to know what year or even decade he is from is by his outfit.
My immediate thought was there is no this man is from early or even mid 1600s because of the coat and the hair and also the shoes.
So then my brain thought later 1600s like 1680-1690 but the problem was the coat, pants and the hair.So I started to get confused. Why did they say 1600s but he is not from the 1600s? So I did more digging and someone tweeted. "I thought that was alexander Hamilton." And that made the history wheels turn is Philip actually from the 1770s?
Guys I think we have a winner. Going off of the fashion Philip Wittebane is from the 1770s.
(P.s. and if he is from Britain which some people speculate it would make sense if he came to fight in the revolutionary war and instead made a portal)
Tell me guys what you think below.
