Kabanata 14 | Mother's Plea
The familiar three story modern mansion invaded my eyes.
Tita Teressa sent her driver and their car to pick me up in the ZGC building.
And analyzing what Climente family has right now makes me realize that they are someone who included in the elite.
The tall gate opens and make me witness the beautiful premises of the Climente's for the second time.
The driver open the car's door for me.
"Thank you po."Magalang kung sabi ng nakababa na ako.
I allow myself to survey the place.
"You're here!"I heard Tita Teressa proclaimed when she saw me standing in front of the plant box that has a beautiful flowers on it.
Dumako ang atensyon ko sa kanya,at nginitian sya ng kaunti.
Bumeso sya sa akin,at ganon din ang ginawa ko.
"Come inside...No one is home,hindi pa umuuwi si Rendon."She lively said and guided me inside their house.
Natigil ako sa sala nila at sa hindi malamang dahilan tumaas ang tingin ko at sinuyod ang ikalawang palapag hanggang sa umabot ako sa pinakadulong bahagi...The room of Renuah.
"Let's go in the backyards."Nakangiting anyaya nito at nagpaubaya naman ako.
Nagpunta kami sa gazebo at umupo ako sa single sofa na naruruon.
Kina-usap nya ang isa sa katulong nya saka lumapit sa pwesto ko.
Naupo sya sa harap ko at ang kaninang masayang mukha ay napalitan ng lungkot at simpatya.
"Do you need anything,hija?"She asked me,and I know what she meant to that.
Umiling ako."Wala po."Tipid na sagot ko.
"I'm sorry for what is happening in your company right now...If you need any aid,we are always here for you."Masuyong aniya.
Ngumiti lang ako ng kaunti at hindi sumagot.
The tea came and was served by their made kaya natigil ang usapan.
"Thank you."Tita Teressa said to the made, dismissing her.
"Have some tea...It will give a lot of benefits in your body."She said sabay abot ng tasang may lamang tea.
Kinuha ko ito pero hindi ako uminom...Tea wasn't my kind of drink.
"I'm fine,Tita...By the way...Why do you want to talk to me?"I asked straightforwardly.
Ibinaba nya ang teacup nya saka nya ako tinignan. But mixed emotions is now in her eyes... Gone the lively aura.
