the music flew through the small video store, quietly playing in the background as Mike walker road his skateboard through the corridors.

his shift had ended a couple minutes before and he was doing his daily check-up, making sure everything was in place before closing up.

he was almost done, all he had left was the horror movie section, if you could call them horror movies, then he'll be free to go home, to his lovely bed and soft pill-

THUD

his head snapped to the said horror section, frowning as he saw nobody in there.

he hopped off his skateboard, bending down to pick it up lazily "I swear if its that kalivoda kid again..." he grumbled lowly to himself, stalking towards the aisle.

he sighed as he rounded the corner, a few movies had fallen from their place, placing his skateboard down, he moved forward, picking them up to place them back where they were.

They were probably placed wrong. he thought to himself, bringing his hand up to his mouth to stifle his yawns.

now that he was finally done, he can close up and finally go home to enjoy his well deserved slee-

"don't piss your pants" a voice hissed in his ear as an arm wrapped itself around his neck, keeping him in a light choke hold.

"what the hell, arnie?" he grunted as he pushed his cousin off easily, turning around to give both him and his girlfriend, Alice, his middle finger as they snickered amongst themselves.

"jeez, you look like shit!" Alice said, eyeing him up and down, leaning against arnie as he pulled a joint seemingly out of nowhere.

"thank you, Alice and you look lovely as always" sarcasm dripped from his voice as he snatched the joint from arnie's fingers, ignoring his protest, he went to take a puff, only to be stopped by Alice.

"your preppy girlfriend is here somewhere, wouldn't want her to see you smoking weed now, would we?" Alice smirked and took the joint back from him, taking a drag before passing it back to arnie.

"Gina's here?" he questioned, rubbing his hand against his forehead tiredly.

"who do you think allowed us in?" Alice said in a 'duh' tone.

"I heard my name!" a cheerful voice said from behind the three, causing Alice to roll her eyes, and for Mike to smile, warping his arm around his girlfriend's shoulder leaning down to press a kiss to her lips.

the two pulling away as arnie cleared his throat, Mike smirking at the blush that adored Gina's cheeks as she buried her face in his chest.

across from them, Alice stared at the scene in boredom, a hint of disgust on her features, before staring away from the sight.

"so to what do I owe the pleasure?" the brunet turned back to face his friends, giving them almost a lazy look.

"we wanted to let you know that you're joining camp this year" arnie said, grinning lazily at Mike, the latter rolling his eyes as he realised that he was already high.

"since when?" he asked, raising an eyebrow as he turned to look at Alice "since who gives a shit! you stopped coming three years ago without telling us why, sadly, we're short staffed this year and we need another counselor, so you're coming with Jay" the girl shot him a look, to which he frowned at, opening his mouth to protest before Gina stepped in, turning him to look at her.

"I think you should go, Mike. its summer camp, what's the worst that could happen?" she smiled sweetly at him, placing her hand on his face, watching as his face relaxed a little bit "you could use a little bit of fresh air and also, spend some time away from home" her tone quietened at the end, her smile turning into one of symapthy.

he glanced back at the two waiting for him, then back at the blonde girl in front of him " I don't want to leave you" he tried to come up with any excuse but she just smirked at him " I think I can survive without you for a couple of weeks, walker" she pressed on, causing him to let out a small groan as he threw his head back .

if he would go, he would know who was going to be there, while he should be happy, he wasn't.

he dreaded their meeting, their reunion would be a disaster that will completely shatter his world, only for him to try and glue it back after a few weeks.

on the other hand, his sister was going, and he knew how hard it was for her to handle the kids on her own, as Alice and arnie were useless in these types of situations, cindy berman was a complete control freak, as mean as it sounded, the only other person who was capable of helping was Tommy slater.

he didn't say that he was good with kids, he wasn't, but he knew a thing or two about dealing with them, and as long as he's away from the rich, annoying sunnyvalers, he'll be okay.

with a sigh, Mike smiled lightly at his girlfriend, nodding slightly "okay, I'll go" he directed towards his cousin before leaning down, pressing his lips against Gina's.

She was right, what's the worst that could happen?
