Chapter 7: Standing up for myself

Nash's Pov.

After crying in the bathroom for about 12 minutes, I actually felt a bit better. I don't know what it was but it made me feel better knowing that Cameron cared. Or That's what it seemed like. However it was, I shouldnt trust him. For all I know he hangs out with jerks. So he probably is one himself. I should just avoid him for now on.

   After I left the bathroom heading towards 7th period class. I noticed that I left my book bag in the bathroom. I quickly ran to the bathroom. I walked in and saw something that made my stomach drop. It was a very terrible feeling. Cameron was pushed up against the wall all up on a girl. The girl was very petite and had long light brown curly hair.

As I stood there in shock not being able to move. Cameron turned I around.

"How long have you been standing there?" He gave me a confused look

"Uhh not long, I just forgot my book bag and I came to get it" I said trying shake off the awkward feeling

"Just get your fucking bag and go, you stupid queer!" The girl said while giving me a bitchy attitude

I just froze. Why the hell don't I stand up for myself? Am I seriously gonna take people's crap? Nope not any more

"Shut the fuck up!" I practically yelled at her

She just stood there with her mouth shaped as an "o"

I just smirked while getting my bag and walking out. I have to admit standing up for my self felt amazing. I was then interrupted from my thoughts when a hand touched my shoulder and made me turn around. I was now facing Cameron.

"Don't you have to back your slu-friend?" I said raising my right eyebrow

"She's uhh not my friend, she just came on to me" Cameron said while shrugging

I rolled my eyes at his response.

"Why did you uhh yell at her? Not that I care or anything" Cameron shrugged

"Well I decided I should stand up for myself,  I'm tired of people pushing me around" I responded

As I replied to him, I remembered that I still couldn't trust him.

"I uhh have to go" I told him.

With that said. I started running till I was gone from his sight.
