The class was over, and I walked back inside to say goodbye to MJ, but she had already left. I asked Peter if he wanted to go to Aunt May's house with me or if he was gonna stay at Avengers Tower again. Peter said that he would stay with me and Aunt May for a while since most of The Avengers were on a mission, but he said he did have to make an important phone call to someone. I'm pretty sure he thinks I haven't figured out that he's gonna call Tony Stark. We walked home together and had a conversation about the day. In a couple of weeks, it would be our birthday, so I wanted to talk to Peter about our birthday party. I had some ideas of course, but I was curious what my twin brother thought. I told Peter that I had some ideas about our birthday, but he said he hadn't really thought about it. I asked him why, and he said that he had been thinking too much about the blood transfusion, The Avengers, and the possibility that I might develop powers of my own. I told him he shouldn't worry so much about me and that I would be fine! Then I suggested we would invite Ned and MJ to our birthday party, and he agreed.
When we arrived at Aunt May's apartment, we both went to our rooms. Peter made sure I wouldn't be able to hear his phone call, so I gave up on that. I started doing my homework and watched a film on Netflix. By the time we had dinner, I had almost forgotten about Peter's phone call. Aunt May asked us if we had thought about our birthday yet, and I told her I wanted to invite a friend from school, and so did Peter. After dinner, I went to my room and called MJ to tell her I missed her after science class, and I asked her if she wanted to come to my birthday party. She was happy that I called her, and she was looking forward to my birthday. Before I went to bed, I asked Peter what my weird action in science class was supposed to be. He responded kinda vague and said it was probably just a coincidence. I know it wasn't. I mean, it can't be, right? it has to be something else! And I was determined to find out what!
