chapter six: Testing the limits

In the following days, Peter and I tried to test my powers to see if they were any different from his. As you might know, Peter's powers include Superhuman strength, very fast reflexes and his "spider-sense". Oh, and he can stick to walls not to forget. We went to an abandoned factory just outside the city. First, my brother explained to me how I was supposed to use the web-shooters. He showed me how he would shoot a web, and swing from one ceiling pipe to the other. 

Eventually, I got to the point where I could finally shoot a web, but my skills were still nowhere near the level of Peter's. My brother also showed me how he would climb the walls. And after hours of practice, I got to the point where I could stick to the wall without falling off. 

two days later, school started again, so that's what we were supposed to focus on. School wasn't very different from usual. I kinda just experienced all of it as a blur, since I had more exciting things to think about. I also talked to Peter about our birthday party and suggested we could watch a movie with Ned and MJ. He told me I could choose the movie if I wanted to. I was thinking about Twilight or Harry Potter, since most people like those. After school, Peter went to Avengers Tower to train for a future mission.

I went home and saw Aunt May lying on the couch. She seemed like she was sleeping, so I quietly walked to my room and did my homework for maths and a couple of other classes. When I was done with the homework Aunt May walked into my room, and asked me If I could call my brother and ask when he would be home. 

I called Peter and asked him when he would be home. He told me he would probably be home around 7. And he also told me he was gonna introduce me to some people tomorrow. 

I was curious why he was being so secretive, but it had probably something to do with the whole superhero job or something...
