We were all having a great time talking. Liam was also having a great time chatting with his father and mine. The only one who didn't enjoy this at all was Mrs.Adam. She was sending me glares now and then but I just smiled at her.

After a while,

"So now Alisa, this is your present"

Mr.Adam was giving me two envelopes. I was curious to know what was inside but I just took it from him. I gave him a small smile and Lima was already staring at the envelopes.

"You can open them Alisa"

Mr.Adam said and I did. My face fell when I read the first sentence.

"HAVE A GREAT HONEYMOON"

Okay that's it, Liam is going to be mad. How can I react?

"You didn't have to do this sir"

"No princess, just enjoy"

Liam  was just staring at me, asking me for the envelop. I gave him and turned to my parents. They were already smiling.

Before I could tell anything, Liam interrupted.

"Dad, I'm having some business deals. I don't think I can go"

"Son, I had cancelled all of it, no worries"

Liam was staring at me again. And that's when I knew he was really mad. I quickly gave him a weak smile and turned to my parents.

"Mom, we are hanging out today"

Before my mom spoke up,
Mr.Adam said which made Liam really really mad,

"No way princess, Liam and you are hanging out today"

"No, its okay Sir. I'm hanging out with my best friend today. Anyways Liam is bus-.."

Before I completed my sentence,

"No dad, I'm not busy. We can going out today"

Liam said and I was really shocked. What does he want from me?

"Okay then, maybe we have to go now, have ah rest time both of you"

We both nodded a Okay and sent them out. Before I could close the door, a hand landed on my right cheek. He slapped me. This was the first time.

"YOU..BECAUSE OF YOU MY LIFE IS TERRIBLE. WHO DO YOU THINK YOU ARE TO PLAN OUT EVERYTHING? AND YOU WANT TO HANG OUT WITH ME? WHAT MADE YOU THINK I WILL? YOU YOU JUST GO AWAY BEFORE I SLAP YOU AGAIN."

I ran away tears rolling down. I didn't want my birthday to be like this. How can he and his girlfriend slap me at anytime they want? How?

I quickly closed the door and snuggled into the blanket with tears. I was tired of crying. I was tried of him. I was tired of everything.

I got a message from my best friend,

"Alisa, are you ready?"

"Hey cupcake, my parents are forcing me to spend the day with Liam and he agreed, can I hang out with you tomorrow?"

"WOW I SEE SOME PROGRESS. Okay silly, but make sure to have a happy day okay?"

"Okay"

I know how will my day go. I didn't want Anaya to worry about me so I just didn't tell her what exactly happened.

After two hours I was tired of just staring at the ceiling. That's when I heard someone knocking on my room door.

I ignored but it was louder than I expected.

"ALISA, OPEN THIS DAMN DOOR BEFORE I BREAK IT."

He was shouting so I slowly made my way to unlock the door. He was standing right in front of the door dressed beautifully. I looked down and waited till he spoke but he was just staring at me.

"What do you want, Liam?"

"You"

"What?"

"Can't you remember, that we are supposed to hang out  today?"

"It's okay, I'll just stay inside. You can hang out with your girlfriend. I don't want to be a third wheel"

"Shut up and come get in the car, I don't want my father to beat me up for not hanging out."

"Okay"

With that I followed him to his car. Clara was already sitting on the front seat. She was staring at me with pure disgust and anger. I chose to ignore. I sat behind and took a book with me.

Liam, got in the car and kissed Clara on the cheek whispering something to which made her smile.

Now I was scared at how Clara was smiling at me creepily. Why, are they going to kill me? Wait I should have thought about it before I agreed to hang out with Liam.

I shushed all these thoughts away.he parked the car in front of the biggest shopping mall and asked us to get down. I wanted to stay inside but he was angry when I said no. I didn't want him to slap me again in front of everyone.

I followed them. They interviewed their fingers together and were already cuddling with each other.

They went inside a small jewelry shop, I wanted to stay behind because I didn't want to buy anything. It's not like I have so much money to buy them.

But Liam motioned me to come in, so I nodded and went in.

They were both seeing many designs of necklaces which was really beautiful. But I was just sitting in the ring areas and looking at them greedily.

A single ring caught my attention, it was a simple one with a small stone in the middle. I chose to ask them the price,

"The price of the third ring, please?"

"It's 1000$ madam"

"Okay"

I didn't want it buy that because I had only 2000$ in my bank account . I didn't want to spend all of them. So I just sat on the sofa and scrolled though YouTube.

Both of them were in the cashier paying for something. They started to walk out and I think they forgot about me. So I just followed them because I didn't want Liam to lose his position in the company because of me. But before I could take another step, the cashier interrupted.

"Madam, I hope you are Alisa. Sir told me to give this to you"

"Who?"

She pointed at Liam who was now carrying Clara in the bridal style. My eyes widened when she pointed at Liam.

I took the small bag and looked what was inside. To my surprise it was the ring I was looking. I smiled.

"Does he care about me?"

"No no no he will never. Maybe he does care about me a little"

I shushed away all these thoughts away and made my way to his car not wanting them to leave me behind.
