After we had our lunch, we walked towards our car and was already driving to our new apartment.

He was quiet and I wanted to start a conversation. But I waited until he do. Five minutes past and he was still looking at the road and ignoring that I'm beside him.

"You kno-w"

Before I could complete my sentence,

"Congratulations"

"Why?"

"Because this is the longest time period you had not talked and wait you didn't actually shout."

I laughed and he did too.

"What did you want to say?"

"Anaya is pregnant."

"WHAT?!"

"Why are you shouting?"

"No because it's been just a couple of months since she went to Singapore?"

"Yeah why are you jealous?"

"NO WHY WOULD I?"

"I know right"

"But if you want to try maybe we can have a cute baby like me"

"WHAT?!"

"No no I was just kidding silly."

He laughed and I threw the phone towards him but luckily he catches it before it breaks the car window.

"Are you still meeting Clara?"

I don't know what made me ask this question but I was just curious. I wanted to know. It's not like I'm jealous.

"Why do you care?"

"I don't and now don't start to argue."

I said annoyingly and turned to the window to lean on.

"Yeah but as a friend."

I heard him say and I signed. I should have known better right?
Just "friends". I know they are just friends.

"Are you jealous?"

My eyes widened at his question.

"ME? Jealous of what?"

"Jealous because I'm yours."

"WHAT?! You are not mine."

"Then?"

"I don't know"

He just smiled and turned.
Butterflies were already tickling because he was smiling. Someone please stop these stupid butterflies. I'm falling for someone even though I know he is not mine. Shit.

After a while, he parked the car in front of a small and beautiful house.

We both got down and made our way to the front door. We quickly stepped in and was excited to look around.

"LIAM, COME HERE."

"What what? Did you fall again?"

He came shouting. He was just staring at me and asking me what's wrong.

I pointed towards the bed and still he had no idea what was I talking about.

"We only have a bed."

"So?"

"What do you mean by so?"

"I can't understand you."

"WE HAVE A BED THAT MEANS WE ARE SLEEPING TOGETHER."

"Yeah so why are you shouting?"

"Don't act Liam."

"Fine, I'll sleep down."

"That's a gentleman."

I smiled bad was also shocked when he actually agreed to sleep down. This is not the Liam I know. Something was fishy but I chose to ignore.

It was already eight and I decided to arrange the bed.

I put the blanket on and wanted to switch off the light but Liam entered.

"Here, take this and sleep down."

"What makes you think I'm going to sleep down?"

"WHAT?!"

"Don't shout, I'll sleep down after I say a real story about this house."

"What's up with this house?"

He slept beside me and started his story.

"There was only a grandmother living here with her son. When her son died, she decided to suicide and she did that stupid thing in this room."

"WHAT?? What's that thing?"

"She suicided, now can you go to the cupboard and take my night shirt?"

"I can't."

"Then I'm sleeping out of this room today, because I don't want that grandmother to kill me too."

"What, Wait I'll take it."

He smiled and I slowly made my way to the cupboard. I took a black T-shirt and showed him.

"Who's behind you?"

"WHO?"

With that I quickly ran to and jumped on him. My hands were around his neck and legs around his waist. I hugged him really tight. I was scared.

"Alisa, I can't breathe."

I slowly removed my hands and sat back.

"Don't ever scare me like that."

"Okay I'll sleep down, bye."

"NO"

I grabbed his hand and patted the place next to mine. He was confused at first but nodded.

After around a couple of hours later, I was still twisting and turning. I couldn't sleep because of the stupid story Liam told me.

"Liam, Liam? Are you awake?"

His back was facing me. He didn't reply.

"Can you turn this side?"

No reply. After a couple of minutes later he turned and laid his hands on my waist and pulled me closer.

I smiled and closed my eyes. At least I'm feeling safe in his hands.
