Akaashi's POV

"Hello?"

'Why is it so dark? I thought it was the middle of the day.' I thought to myself as there was nothing but pure darkness surrounding me.

Standing up I stretched out my hand to see if there was anything there. It didn't seem like there was anything in front so I slowly started walking, wanting to see if there was a way out.

Why was I even here in the first place? Did something happen and I just forget?

I couldn't remember anything that happened, or even think of a single thing that could have led me to be here.

"Hello!" I yelled out in hopes of getting a response back, but the only thing I could hear was my own echo as it faded, followed by silence.

Sighing, I continued walking until I saw a very faint light in the distance.

'Finally.'

Picking up my speed, I started running towards the only sense of life in this darkness. But as I started getting closer, my vision started to blur.

Touching my eyes, I felt a watery tear escape my eye as my mind was beginning to cloud with different events. Every step I took a past memory would flash before my eyes, some I didn't even remember living. They spanned from the moment I was born to the most recent day being mine and (Y/N's) anniversary. It felt like I was reliving everything I'd ever done to the current date.

"Why am I crying?" I said as I felt warm tears fall down my cheeks, they just kept flowing. I wasn't even feeling any type of sadness, I felt more numb.

Wiping away the tears, a memory from yesterday flashed through my mind.

"Keiji where are you taking me?" (Y/N) asked as she walked in front of me, a blind fold over her eyes preventing her from seeing.

"You'll see." I said while directing the girl in front of me through the grass.

I had planned this out for a week now, so it had to be perfect.

"Okay, you can take the blind fold off."

I watched as her eyes went wide as she took off the blind fold, letting it hit the grass softly. Her eyes sparkled a bit from the summer sun, and it felt like it was my first time seeing her.

She smiled brightly as she turned towards me and embraced me in a tight hug.

"You did this all for me?" She said while pointing at the floor.

It had taken me a few hours, but I'd finally set up the summer picnic she'd been talking about for awhile now.

I had placed a white blanket on the floor decorated with purple pansy flower petals that littered the edge of the blanket. Along with some snacks and drinks inside the picnic basket. I'd bought the basket a few days prior.

The white oak tree provided us a bit of shade away from the summer sun which was just what I needed.

'It's perfect.' I thought.

"Do you like it?" I asked seeing she hadn't responded in a bit.

She remains silent before going on the tips of her toes and grabbing ahold of my face, kissing me on the cheek.
