His Husband

The ride back home was silent. For Taehyung, he was in his own thoughts. He was on the verge of breaking down. He was so not ready to be pregnant.

On the hand, Jungkook was happy at first, but after seeing Taehyung, he got worried. He didn't know what Taehyung was thinking, he kept glancing at him. He could tell that his husband was not ready for this.

After coming home, Taehyung had locked himself in their bedroom. Jungkook was worried sick, he did not know what to do. Taehyung had not taken lunch. It was  almost time for the dinner. Jungkook decided to make Taehyung's favourite.

After making dinner, he went up to their bedroom and knocked on the door. He softly called his husband.

"Tae! Baby! I've made the dinner. Open the door."

When he heard nothing, he continued "Baby! At least, talk to me, say something. I'm getting so worried."

When Taehyung heard Jungkook's broken voice, he decided to open the door. He said nothing to Jungkook and walked straight to the dining table.

They ate dinner in silence. Well, Taehyung did, Jungkook kept glancing at his husband to make sure he was okay. He could tell Taehyung had difficulty in eating cause the doctor had given him the medication for that. He did not know how to tell the other to take it.

After Taehyung had eaten half of his plate, he felt a sudden urge to throw up. So, he got up and ran to the bathroom, Jungkook right behind him. After throwing up, Taehyung felt so weak. Jungkook lifted him up, made him brush his teeth and carried him to the bed. After laying him down, Jungkook sat beside him and held his hand.

"Baby! Please tell me what's wrong? Do you not want the kids?? If you don't, then we'll figure it out, but please don't shut me out like that."

Taehyung broke down in front of his husband. He absolutely loves the kids. He doesn't know why he is behaving like that. He hugged Jungkook while crying in his arms.

Jungkook kept running soothing circles on his back, while saying comforting words. To say Jungkook was worried was an understatement, he loves Taehyung so much, it hurt him to see his husband in this state. He felt responsible for his husband's tears.

"Baby! I'm so sorry. I should have been careful. It is all my fault. I should have been careful from the start."

Taehyung broke the hug and looked at his husband with puffy eyes before cupping his cheeks.

"Kookie!! Stop. It's not your fault. I love the kids. Its not like I don't want the kids. I do. But, I'm just worried about my company. My dad had worked so hard for this company. I've worked so hard on that project we got from Choi Corps this year. And I don't know how I'll manage all that while being pregnant. Our company's reputation will fall down if this project fails. "

Jungkook now finally understood. He relaxed after hearing his husband's words. He removed his husband's hands from his face before holding them within his hands and intertwining his fingers.

" Baby! It's nothing to worry about. I know you'll do great. If you keep taking all the medicines and precautions the doctor prescribed, I'm sure you'll be perfectly fine. If you are not able to do it, then you can always rely on me. We'll make it work. We are in this together. "

With that, he joined his lips with Taehyung's and kissed him with all his love. They broke the kiss after a while.

"I love you so much, Jungkook."

"I love you so much too, Taehyung."

They both smiled before kissing each other again.

"Come on, You have to eat something. You didn't even had lunch. You have to eat for two now."

Taehyung playfully rolled his eyes at his husband's last words. Although, Taehyung didn't show it to Jungkook, he was still internally worried.

Jungkook brought dinner for his husband in their bedroom and fed him after giving him the medicine. Taehyung was finally able to fill his stomach without having the urge to throw up.

Later that night, the couple was all cuddled up in the bed, with Taehyung's head resting on Jungkook's chest. Jungkook was thinking deeply about Taehyung's work and the projects and how to help him.

"Tae!"

Taehyung hummed. Jungkook decided to share his thoughts.

"I was actually thinking about your work and projects. I want you close to me all the time. I can't just let you go to your work all alone. We work in different buildings and we have different companies. Maybe, we could make a deal about merging our companies, so that we both can be together. This will not only help us as a couple but it'll also benefit our companies. Only if you agree."

Taehyung got lost in his own thoughts after hearing Jungkook. After thinking a lot, (while Jungkook was worried sick about his husband's response), Taehyung finally spoke,

" I don't know, Kook. I'll first talk to my mom about that, and then make a decision. Speaking of which, How are we going to tell our parents about the whole pregnancy thing?", Taehyung lifted his head to look at his husband.

After a lot of thinking and sharing thoughts, the couple decided on inviting their parents over for a dinner. They'll then reveal the pregnancy and also ask their parents about the business deal between the two companies.

While Jungkook was  reviewing their final decision, Taehyung had already fallen asleep. Jungkook smiled seeing his baby, kissed him on his nose, and held him close to his chest and turned off the lamps.
