"How are you not nervous?" Zach asked Melanie as the pair walked down the hallway. Melanie was speed walking and Zach tried keeping up with her from behind.

"No? Why would I be?" Melanie chuckled.

"Jonah?"

Melanie froze. Her speed walking came to a stop and Zach finally able to catch up to her. He stopped his walking in front of her to see her expression resembling an anxious one.

"What? Does the word 'Jonah' make you nervous?" Zach smirked as he continued to tease Melanie, "I didn't know you got nervous."

"Of course I do." Melanie snapped back which only made Zach laugh. He couldn't help but he amused by how she was acting all because of Jonah.

"Aw, does someone have a crush?" Zach fake pouted and patted Melanie on the head.

"Oh you can't talk, you are nervous to see your bandmates. Bandmates! For crying out loud." Melanie rubbed her hands over her face and started pacing around the hallway.

Zach followed her around like a lost puppy but eventually stepped in front of her to stop. "You will be fine. I know Jonah and he is the nicest guy you will ever meet. Plus, he's going to love you."

Melanie took a deep breath, "Okay. Yeah, he's going to love me. I'm a very lovable person." she reassured herself as she moved away from Zach and continued down the hall.

Zach couldn't help but let out an airy laugh as he ran to walk with Melanie.

The two walked to the end of the hall. The only way down to the ground level were the elevators and stairs.

Zach saw Melanie's hand moving towards the elevators button but before she could hit the button, Zach yanked her away and pushed her towards the stairs.

"What the hell!" Melanie whined as she now stood in the doorway of the flight of stairs.

"Remember, I don't like elevators." Zach shrugged and started down the stairs. Melanie rolled her eyes and followed the boy down the stairs. "Where's Dave and Kaylee?"

"They went out to go meet that girl your dad is seeing." Melanie responded with her answer echoing through the stairwell.

Zach hopped down the last few steps, "Aw, good for him. Hopefully she isn't a bitch."

"I'll manifest it for him." Melanie smiled as the two exited the stairwell and entered the hotel lobby. Since the two were going to meet Jack, they both instantly looking for their brunette companion.

Zach easily spotted him sitting in a chair on his phone in the corner of the lobby. He raced over to his friend with Melanie directly behind him.

"Jack!" Zach exclaimed. Jack lifted his head up and shined a big smile right away. Zach went in for a hug as Jack stood up. They did a bro hug while Melanie watched, cringing.

"You're still a girl! Nice to see nothing's changed." Jack joked as they were in the hug. Zach pushed out of the hug with a pretend hurtful face displayed.

After, Melanie gave Jack a quick hug.

"What took you so long?" Jack said after he let go of Melanie.

"Blame him, he was like a snail putting on the clothes I gave him to wear." Melanie blamed Zach as she quickly pointed at him. Zach gasped as Jack just laughed.

"I was not a snail!" Zach argued back but was hushed up by Jack and Melanie since they both knew that he was lying.

"Anyway," Melanie spoke up, "Let's go see Skye!"
