Zach woke up in the cold bed, nothing of a warm feeling near his skin. For the past month this bed has always felt warm and homie but now there was something off. The walls looked somber, the bright colors surrounding the rooms didn't feel so bright any more, even the sun wasn't as sunny as usual.

Zach instantly felt sad or depressed, nothing was really making him happy at the moment. He couldn't think of anything that would bring a smile to his face.

He was trapped in the body of the girl he liked, having to take care of her mother being back after all these years without her finding out. If she ever found out what he was not telling her then she would hate him for life.

Zach prayed that no one had found out and told her because if the truth would come out, he needed to be the one to tell her.

But after Zach handled it, obviously.

"Skye! Come on, mom made breakfast." Kaylee popped her head into the doorway of Skye's room, a small smile on her face before disappearing again.

Zach mentally rolled his eyes, pulling the covers off of his body and carrying himself out of the room.

He did not want to face Kelly. Even if she was Skye's mom, he still wouldn't like her. There was a feeling her got from her, she was bad news and a two faced bitch.

Clearly he was the only one that can see it.

As Zach trenched down the stairs, unhappy with the scene laid before him.

Kelly was at the stove, cooking up a stack of pancakes that looks like it wouldn't stop growing. Kaylee was happily enjoying her pancakes, shoving them in her face as she put whip cream all over the top of them. Dave was helping Kelly around the kitchen, starting to clean.

He didn't like how suddenly Kaylee and Dave were letting this women back into their life. They were just blinded by love but Zach wasn't, he would make sure this wouldn't last long.

"Morning." Zach mumbled, walking into the kitchen as his socks slid across the hardwood floor.

Kelly looked up at him entering, "Morning sweetie, I made pancakes!"

"Did you poison them?" Zach raised an eyebrow, sitting down next to Kaylee. He poked the pancakes with his fork, eyeing them like it was a wild animal.

"No, the only thing new I added was love." Kelly gave a cheesy sentence.

Zach wanted a barf at that statement, just like he wanted to barf out these pancakes. Not for the fact they could taste gross, because they were surprisingly amazing, but for the fact Kelly made them.

"Girls, you got school. I have to head off to work, so subway?" Dave asked, getting a nod from both of the kids. He smiled softly, planting a kiss on each of their heads before exiting the kitchen.

He didn't mind to say something to Kelly, seeming it was too early to make up his own mind on the situation.

"So, what grades are you guys in? Fifth and Eighth?" Kelly spoke up.

Zach just borderline frowned, "No, I'm a senior and Kaylee is a sophomore." he rolled his eyes, "And you call yourself our mom."
