Rebirth

First Meetings

A/N- I thank @Allen901for this idea, so thank you very much. Before I forget, the setting of this story is 3 years after the last chapter. Reverse Flash was wiped out from existence because Iris and Eddie got married. I know that sounds silly, but he will return. Kara is a reporter for CatCo, and She and Barry's introduction will take place at a crime scene in CatCo. Kara won't be all nervous, and she'll be a bit more confident(. On the other hand, Barry will be super nervous and clumsy( like Clark) since it's his crime scene in national. Barry has come to National for another motive which will be revealed later on. Now, Onto the story.

S.T.A.R Labs Cortex

Cisco: " Ok, Barry, I made the changes to your suit, and I compressed it inside the ring so you won't have any problem in National City. And the black is just an extra; It looks cool," Cisco instructed Barry on the new suit as he gave him the ring. 

Barry: " Thank you, Cisco." Barry said, taking the ring and putting it on his finger.

Barry was going to National for a mission, and he was packing his stuff. After packing up, he came to S.T.A.R Labs to grab his flash ring, which was being modified with new features by Cisco. Caitlin, H.R and the rest of the team were there too. 

Caitlin: " Stay safe, Barry", Caitlin wished and hugged Barry.

"I will, Cait."

Iris: "Come back soon, Barry. We'll miss you." Iris said and gave a tight hug to Barry. After their breakup 3 and a half years ago, Iris slowly became a sister of sorts to Barry. 

Bary: " I will, Iris. Take care of her, and Baby Barry, Eddie," Barry motioned to Eddie, whom Iris was married to for the past 3 years. It was only 8 months ago that they found out that Iris was pregnant.

Eddie:" Again, we're not naming him that." Eddie says as he chuckles and gives Barry a soft hug.

"BAAAA" HR hugs Barry tightly. 

" I'm gonna miss ordering ' the flash' for you at Jitters."

HR: " Here is a little present to remember me by, A picture of me."

HR hands a photo of himself posing like a statue.

Barry: " I'm gonna come back, HR, but thank you for the present."

Joe: " Here are your certificates and Iris's letter of recommendation. Don't do anything stupid and stay safe, okay?" 

Barry: " Spoken like a true dad. I will, Joe." Barry replied, taking the bag with the certificates and files and giving a small hug to Joe.

Barry: " Ok, It's time to go. Bye, guys." Barry says and speeds off to National city.

National City, CatCo

Cat Grant: " Keiraaaaa!!!!" Cat Grant, Founder and Owner of CatCo worldwide media, screeched at her highest voice from her office. 

" Did Ms grant forget you're not her assistant anymore, or are you getting fired?" A short guy sitting on a chair asked a woman.

" Cut it out, Winn. I'm not getting fired; my articles have gotten better these past few days. You can't blame me for focusing on the more important issues rather than writing about superheroes like the Flash."

The short guy, now known as Winn, responded. " But you're a superhero too, Kara. And The Flash had recently saved the world, so it makes sense to write articles and praise him."
