Feelings

On Kara's side, after getting the text.

Kara rushed outside the museum and flew back to her apartment. As she opened the door, she hears small laughs and rushes in. She finds Eve Teschmacher and Mon-el-Kara's boyfriend laughing together on her couch. Kara was raging with anger. 

On Mon-El's first day at work, Kara caught him and Eve making out in a room. Of course, Mon-El and Kara were in love, and nothing was going to come in between them, but Kara and Mon-El were not in a good place right now. 

Kara recently found out that Mon-El was the prince of Daxam, and she forgave him for lying, but something changed. Their relationship was crumbling from the inside. Mon-El wasn't serious, and Kara was on the brink of collapse. 

She loved Mon-El before, but now, it was changing. Mon-El wasn't committed as he was at first. Kara and Mon-El were just three weeks into their relationship, and things weren't looking good(The mxy thing didn't happen, so it wasn't wholly true love). Kara was afraid that something might soon come to an end. Their relationship was strained by the fact that both of them had changed. Mon-El was slowly changing back to his typical ways, and Kara was in an unknown trance state. She was getting drawn to somebody she barely knew.  

She mentally slapped herself out of her thoughts and spoke up.

Kara: " Eve, what a surprise!!" Kara said with a fake smile.

" Yeah, Mike and I were just talking about work. He invited me." Eve spoke up as Kara tried maintaining her fake smile.

" Yeah, You weren't at home, so I just called Eve to talk with you."

Eve: " Hey Kara, you were with Barry, right?"

"Who's Barry?"

" Barry is the new reporter. He's Kara's partner." Eve says as mon-el replies

" I haven't seen him. Is he new?"

" How haven't you seen him? He's a bit taller than you, Muscular, Handsome, and roams around with Kara a lot." Eve says and adds fuel to the fire.  Mon-El suddenly gets hit with a pang of jealousy.

Eve was obviously trying to break them apart. It wouldn't be so hard since they were already on the brink of breaking up. 

"Oh yeah? That's great," Mone-El says as it was his turn to muster up a fake smile. 

After an awkward silence, Eve opts to leave.

Eve: " Well, I have to go now. Bye Mike, I'll see you later and bye Kara." She says and leaves.

" WHAT WAS EVE DOING HERE!!?" Kara screeches and asks as a frustrated Mon-el replies.

" Well, She was giving me some company since my girlfriend was roaming around with some guy!!" Mon-El replies in an equally fierce tone.

" He is a work partner. You don't even know him." Kara says.

Mon-el: " You could've called me!!" 

Kara: " You are not a reporter!!!"  Kara said, stating the obvious.

Mon-El: " And he is?" Mon-el asked stupidly.

"Yeah!! Leave it. Why did you invite Eve? The real reason please?" Kara asked.

"Fine!! Eve wanted to talk, and I invited her. She wanted me to be her plus one on Friday night to the CatCo gala on the launch of the Central City office. I said yes." 

" You are going out with her?!!! It might be friendly, but I told you that CatCo would have a gala on the new launch of the Central City office way before her. I asked if you could come as my plus one, and you said yes! Don't you remember?" Kara asked as Mon-El put his head down in shame. 

" I might have forgotten, but I could change-" He was interrupted by Kara.

"Leave it. I need to go to the DEO. We'll talk later." Kara says and super speeds into her costume and flies off.

A/N

Hey everyone. Sorry for the short chapter, but this chapter was just written to highlight Kara and Mon-el's relationship. To the Karamel Fanboys and girls, My opinion is that Kara and Barry would have been together if they weren't on different earths. Mon-El was threatened by Barry when they both first met, which obviously says a lot. This is just my opinion, so don't take it to heart. A sneak peek into the stories I'll explore-
