Ladies and gentlemen, just like that it's a wrap. The saga is complete! Right now I'm currently feeling proud that I saw this hexology through to completion. What started as an idea for one story expanded into so much more. I want to say a big thank you to everyone that has followed along and a special thank you to anyone that has read all of these stories. I've been a metroid fan since age 12 and over the years I've written a few stories in notepads that I still have (and I'll probably do more again in the future) and right now I feel like this is taking me back to those days, reminding me of the fun I have with this franchise and the enjoyment I get from it. During the time I was writing this particular story E3 2021 occurred and Nintendo announced "Metroid dread" for the Nintendo switch, needless to say I am extremely pumped to see that the franchise now has a bright future ahead of it while also celebrating its 35th anniversary this year. Its a big time for us fans and this story coinciding with all of this makes it extra special for me as I feel like I'm contributing in my own way. (Even if my stories are poorly written)
I've enjoyed writing "Metroid before" and It feels good knowing all loose ends have been tied up in a bow nicely. As much as I love writing metroid stories and wouldn't mind doing another, I have to stop at some point, there has to be a point where it comes to an end and this is that point. I could write these forever and create some massive universe but as I learn and develop as a writer I also want to learn through my own original concepts and ideas. I used to write a lot as a kid and apart from metroid there was a few other ideas I created, the ideas themselves were good and have a lot of promise but their writing and execution is naturally horrendous given my age at the time. I've wanted to revive these ideas for a long time and give them the proper treatment and flesh out their real potential, atleast that way I'll have something to call my own and this platform is the perfect place to do it .
With this all done and dusted I'm finally going to move on and revive those old ideas . I don't know how long it will be before I'm back on wattpad with a new story but rest assured I want to actually make something decent and not just throw out stories for the sake of it. With that all said, thank you again!, thank you for getting this far and for giving me a chance. I hope to see some of you in the comments of my future stories. As Samus Aran would say...
