I
The Living Hope
---
This is the story of a girl named Amy Arrows. It all starts with her family. Amy's father, David Arrows, a soldier in Garing-free, married a simple woman named Ellen Porter, not literally a simple woman. She is the queen of Portland Goldens, the kingdom of the portal soldiers. Ellen hid her power from her husband.
After all, David didn't really doubt his wife that she might hide something from David, himself. Maybe because of their love, that's how blind the love is. After a year being married, a healthy baby girl with daydreamer blue eyes, soft-curled shining blonde hair, and beautifully fair skin was born, Amy.
"Well, I guess, she would be brave as me," David proudly said while holding a bow that he will probably give to Amy when she grew up.
"Are you . . . going to give it to Amy when she was at the right age?" Ellen asked while looking at Amy's bubbly face then slowly turned to David. "You do really want her to be like you."
"Is that bad?" David asked.
"No. You're just a good father, I guess," Ellen said.
"Why can you say that?" David asked for a fun purpose.
"Oh, come on! You're not serious, right?" Ellen responded.
"I'm definitely not," David said while giving the best smile of his.
It was a long pause and the urge of Ellen to tell a secret to his husband just hit her head.
"David, I have to tell you something really serious and please don't laugh," Ellen started. "But you have to promise that you won't tell anyone."
David nodded simply, willing to listen seriously. Ellen took a deep breath and finally decided to say what it is.
"I'm not just a human. I used to be a queen of the Portland Goldens and I am here, in Garing-free to hide from our enemy, the Kininvas. They want to get me. They are human-like robots, they look like us," Ellen explained.
David just unconditionally dropped his jaw with the amazement to the truth. A noise from outside their house interrupted. They went outside to know immediately about of what had happened outside. A handsome four-year-old kid was calmed down by his mother and a lot of people around him. Ellen and David came near to ask the kid.
"What have you seen?" David asked.
"It was totally strange, a robot, fake skin, long legs," the kid answered.
"Are they really like that?" David whispered to Ellen.
"Yes," Ellen simply answered.
"Kid, run and hide! Hurry! All of you, right now, run!" David shouted and all of them ran and hid, also Ellen.
David drew his sword. The Kininva wasn't armed with its cause of just getting someone to be a guide in finding Ellen, according to her. David failed to fight against that scoundrel that caused Ellen to cry.
