Rosie jumped out of bed, slamming her hand down on her beeping alarm clock to shut it off and running into the bathroom to take a quick shower before rushing back into the room in her pink towel and heading toward her walk-in closet.

She snatched up a knee-length pencil skirt the color of a blue poppy, a short-sleeved coral pink shirt, and an orchid purple sweater that reached her forearm before tossing them on her bed as she walked out of her closet heading toward her dresser.

Rosie threw open the drawers and picked out her underclothes as well as some white tights, throwing them onto the pile of clothes already resting on her bed. Releasing the towel that was wrapped around her body and head, she slipped on the clothes and zipped up her skirt before pulling up her tights and heading into the bathroom again, hair dripping slightly against her back. She quickly wrung out her hair a little and the water splashed against the tiled floor, making a little puddle to the side of her.

Grabbing the black elastic hanging from her wrist with her teeth, she tied her hair back into a high, messy bun before taking a seat on the small pink stool placed in front of the mirror and bathroom counter.

Brushing on her foundation and blush, making sure the foundation curled under her chin and around her hairline so it looked natural, Rosie slid on some emerald eyeshadow and black eye-liner on her eyes.

Once that was done, she popped open her tube of mascara and stroked her eyelashes, making her eyes stand out before pulling out her pink lip liner, shaping her lips. After filling them in with a rose pink lipstick, Rosie walked out back into her room and slipped on her gold ballet flats that sparkled in the light, thanks to the glitter that covered them.

Walking over to her dresser, she opened her large, light pink jewelry box and picked out silver dangly earrings that would compliment her outfit perfectly, sticking them through her earlobes and slipping the backs onto the silver ends of the earrings.

Kneeling, she grabbed her pink hairdryer from the bottom cupboard that was placed on the bottom left of her dresser and plugged it in, pushing up the switches and allowing the hot air to over compass her hair as she dried it. Once she dried it as well as she could, she switched it off and unplugged it, tucking it back inside the cupboard.

Stepping away from her dresser, Rosie turned to look at her clock, shocked to see she only had 5 minutes to eat breakfast and walk to school before the bell rang for classes to start

Stepping away from her dresser, Rosie turned to look at her clock, shocked to see she only had 5 minutes to eat breakfast and walk to school before the bell rang for classes to start. Throwing open her door, she raced down the stairs and into the kitchen, snatching up an apple-filled croissant and popped it in her mouth, trying to gobble it down as she dashed around her house. Her dad was already at work but her mom was still home and Rosie was puzzled as to why she hadn't come up to her room and tell her daughter she was running out of time.

Oh well. No time to ponder about it now.

As soon she got to the front door, she seized her school bag and crashed out the door, slamming it behind her and racing down the front porch, feet pounding against the concrete as she headed toward the school, still trying to finish her breakfast.
