There was a girl named Theodora Noor. She was constantly moving around the World to different boarding schools with her father for his job.
But one unexpected day her father dies, leaving her alone with the person she thought was dead, her mother...
After I knocked on her door, wanting to know if she was free, she just told me she was busy and that we needed to talk later. She seemed off, but it's probably since the ball starts soon, and she needs to make sure everything goes smoothly.
I had 30 mins till I had to be at the ball, and since my mother was busy, I decided to take a walk around the forest trails and relax a little before people started arriving.
Before I moved into the boarding school, I stayed in the Noor castle, and I always found myself coming back to the forest behind the castle.
There was a never-ending amount of trails, and considering no one ever came back here besides the occasional gardeners, I could always count on in this place to be alone from the world.

*Alessandro's POV*
After the meeting, we met up with Mira, and my grandpa went to the ballroom early to meet up with my father and mingle with any early guests.
"Hey, do you guys want to go to the trails? We haven't been there in so long," I asked.
They all nodded their head, and we started walking to the trails while Maxence and Afanasy filled Mira in on what she missed at the meeting.
As we walked the trails in silence, Mira spoke up, "So do you think her daughter will be at the ball?"
Maxence spoke, "I bet she will. But she will probably stay hidden, at least not until the announcement ball."
Mira stopped and looked at us quizzically, "Now, do you think Moon will be here as well? I think she will; she's smart more than people give her credit for."
"She is smart, no doubt about that, but I don't think she would; why would she come to the place that has all the people she's running from? It would be stupid; not even including us, there are other Mafias and powerful people bound to be there."
"I don't know; I just thought that if I were Moon, I would be at the ball. I mean, look at it this way; she has all her enemies in one room; it's the perfect opportunity." Mira said, shrugging her shoulders.
She has a point; Moon could be here tonight. "It's a strong possibility. Since Mira might be right, let's keep a lookout for not only Alexandria's daughter but also Moon.
"Moon would probably..." I stopped in my tracks as the back of a girl in a ball gown came into view. I quickly stopped in my path, making the others stop and look at me questioningly.
They followed my eyesight to the girl. She was looking in the eyes with a deer. The sight was truly magical; it was like a scene out of a fairytale. She had diamonds on her dress that shone in the setting sun.
She was slowly approaching the deer, and it stayed still observing her. We all watched at them in wonder and curiosity as to who this girl was.
As Maxence came forward to get a better view, he accidentally stepped on a stick, grabbing the attention of the deer. The deer looked frantic as it looked around before launching itself past the girl.
Luckily the girl reacted quickly, dodging the deer before it could knock her over.
After the deer ran off, she looked around her, slightly disappointed and angry before we made eye contact.
Theodora?
She sighed at the sight of us with a slightly frustrated expression before quickly masking it with a smile like it was second nature for her. From the time I have known her, she had quite the nack at hiding her emotions in a split second.
Odd.
"Hey Theodora, why are you back here?" Mira questioned.
"Oh, I was just taking a stroll and got lost. My bad." She finished with a chuckle.
"Well, I'm glad we found you; we were just about to head back to the mansion. You can come with us," Mira said with a smile.
"That would be great, thank you." She said, returning the smile.
"Hey, Theadora, how did you do that? Deer are always so skittish around humans." Maxence asked curiously as usual.
"Oh, I'm not sure I guess It just trusted that I wouldn't hurt it," she said, shrugging like it was nothing.
While we made our way back to the castle, Mira, Maxence, and Theodora chated, giving each other compliments about each other's clothing and talking about the classes at school.
Afanasy and I walked a little ways behind them, enjoying the peace of the forest.
As we came up to a fork in the trail, Theodora automatically took the left path as if she knew the roads.
Shaking it off as an accident, we continued walking, but as we got closer to the castle, I noticed that as we reached every fork in the path, she would lead us down the right direction.
I looked at Afanasy, and we shared a confused expression.
"I thought she didn't know the path?" he whispered loud enough for only us to hear.
"I'm not sure, but why would she feel the need to lie to us," I whispered back.
"Mabey she Alexandria's daughter," he whispered sarcastically.
I chuckled at his remark, but it wouldn't leave my head after he said it. It would explain why she got the Noor suite and why she kept things vague about her past, with just enough information to keep us entertained.
She's smart with her actions, and every move she makes seems to be so calculated; at this rate, it wouldn't surprise me if she was the long-lost Noor daughter.
*Theodora's POV*
So much for peace and quiet. I don't mind them, but I won't lie; I miss being a loner.
As we made our way back to the castle, I chatted with Mira and Maxence, too distracted to realize I was supposed to be "lost," dammit hopefully, no one noticed.
I peered over my shoulder to see Alessandro and Afanasy whispering to each other than glancing at me; they definitely noticed.
As we approached the next fork in the path, I purposely tried to lead us down the wrong track before it became too obvious I lied to them about being lost.
Just as I hoped, Mira called me over, "Theodora, that's the wrong way." "Oh, thank you. I don't know how I would have made my way out the forest if it wasn't for you lot," I said, smiling sheepishly.
As we continued, I looked behind me to see Alessandro and Afanasy whispering again, both nodding in agreement. Hopefully, that was enough to get them off my trail this time; I need to be more careful.
