There was a girl named Theodora Noor. She was constantly moving around the World to different boarding schools with her father for his job.
But one unexpected day her father dies, leaving her alone with the person she thought was dead, her mother...

*Theodoras POV*
We walked through Noor Hall's double door entrance, where Maxence started giving me the rundown of the building.
"Ok, so this is Noor Premise; we usually call it Noors for short. This is where the wealthiest students live. I live on the top floor, which has the nicest rooms." He said with a slight smirk.
I internally rolled my eyes; this boy is really getting on my nerves, first the endless chatter and now his cocky smirk. I'm going to keep it in were almost there; I'm probably just hangry. And if I plan on staying under the radar, the last thing I wanna do is make one of the "elites", or whatever he called himself angry.
Ding.
We finally reached the top floor. He continued, "Ok so where was I, there are only 5 rooms on the top floor. Besides me, there are my 3 other friends and now you." He said motioning to the other doors.
Finally reaching the last door he said "Honestly this arguably the best room. All the rooms on the top floor are nice but yours has the best view." He said while opening the door for me.
"I'm actually pretty surprised usually my friend Alessandro gets this room but this year they gave him a different room. It was so funny he was pissed and tried to bribe the headmistress, not a pretty sight." He said while snickering. "You must be special to take his room. By the way, what's your last name I might know it?" He said looking at me.
"Ya, umm my last name is Robert. My dad was a lawyer." I said looking at him. "Wait 'was,' is he not anymore?" he said with curiosity. "Oh ya, well umm.... he passed a couple of months ago," I said looking at my shoes. "Oh, I'm sorry to hear that." He said in a soft tone.
Just then a boy around the same age as Maxence walked through the door. "MAXIE WERE ARE YOU. Why are you in Alessandro's old roo-?" He stopped talking when he saw that I was there.
"Hey, Maxence whos this." The guy said in an unsure tone. "Oh, Theodora meet Afanasy, he's one of my best friends and part of the elites, also not to mention your new neighbor," Maxence said back with his cheery tone after that dreadful conversation.
"Hello Anfansy nice to meet you I'm Theodora, this is my new room," I said in a polite tone. "Hello Theodora, I'm Afanasy Ivanov. I live down in the hall." He said with a Russian Accent that I know too well. His accent reminded me of Moscow, and those dreadful past events. I shivered at the thought of the crash.
They must have noticed my uneasy manner because they looked at me with worry and Maxence shook my arm and said: "Hey Theodora are you ok you look a little pale, do you want to sit down."
I looked at them both and brushed off the uneasiness. "Yeah umm don't worry, I'm just tired. I think I'm gonna take a nap and get settled in," I said brushing off their concern.
"Oh ok sure, by the way, the headmistress said your schedule is on your desk and if you need any help my number is on your schedule. Tomorrow's the first day of school so I'll meet you at the building entrance to walk you to your new classes. Goodnight" Maxence said. After nudging Afanasy so he got the point, Anfansy said "Oh yes, goodnight Theodora."
I got ready for bed while exploring the room. It was big and beautiful, to say the least, and the bed was really comfy, not as comfy as my bed in the Noor mansion but still nice.
'Tomorrow's gonna be a long day' I mumbled to myself while falling asleep.
