Chapter 7 : Spying 2

It's finally my time alone with Mephiles. I've been taking care of Sonic and Shadow's relationship this past few days that I even forget I have my own relationship with my boyfriend.

School is over and Mephiles wants to take me somewhere for us to enjoy our time together. We both just make it to the gate and I can already hear Sonic's voice echoing from behind. Oh, he's calling me.

"Silver! Where are you going?" He asked.

"on a date, why?"

"Ohh...where?"

"Why should I tell you?" I asked very confusingly.

"Just curious, haha. Well have fun!" He smiled and run towards the dorm.

"Seriously, he's always bothering me like I don't have a life" I sigh as Mephiles and I starts walking away.

"That's what bestfriends do, they bother you even for no reason" Mephiles said and I chuckle.

We visit a quite famous café in town, I really like the atmosphere and the aesthetics this place gives. It's just very relaxing and calm, they even set little plants that hang on the ceiling. It's just a really great place to visit, not to mention the beverages here are all so tasty. What a perfect place for a date.

"I heard the school's gonna renovate the teacher's room" Mephiles said.

"I really thought the room is completely fine, why would they want to renovate it? It's just wasting money" I complained.

Our order came soon after and I unwrap the straw before I put it on my drink. Mephiles does the same.

"Well I did hear from one of my classmates that there was a leaking problem on the ceiling" He said.

"Then fix the god damn ceiling! Don't renovate the entire room!"

"Aww Silver you care about the school so much" Mephiles smiled, he put his hand on the table and lock his gaze on me. I blush and avert my eyes away as I fold my hands.

"Well yeah...it's bad to waste money, the school could've done something better" I stated.

We continue to chat together, just going with the flow of our conversation and be in different kind of topics. I stir my drink with the straw as I hear Mephiles talking to me, I took a sip and when I avert my eyes to the window I was so shocked to see a familiar blue quills sticking out behind a tree. I choke on my drink when I see his face, it's definitely Sonic.

"What's wrong?" Mephiles asked.

"Um- I need to use the restroom" I chuckle nervously and got up from my seat.

"Are you sure you're okay?" He grab my wrist.

"Yeah I'm totally fine! This won't take long" I smiled and kiss his cheek. He keep staring at me worryingly as I enter the restroom.

I teleported myself just behind the wall of the café's restroom and I use my telekinesis to pull Sonic towards me. I fold my hands and angrily stare at him while he make a nervous smile.

"Haha...you caught me"

"What are you doing stalking me?!"

"I'm curious! You've been on this date for a long time and- and I- I just want to...study you" he mumbled that last part and I can't even think of what to say to him.

"S-Study? What? What are you talking about?" I questioned.

"You know! One day Shadow might ask me out on a date and I probably won't know what to do! So I'm just studying how you and Mephiles are in a date!"
