𝐂𝐇𝐀𝐏𝐓𝐄𝐑 𝐒𝐈𝐗𝐓𝐄𝐄𝐍

Y/N'S POV:

Smoke, thick black smoke filling my lungs like tar. I can't breath, where is everyone? Where am I?

The sudden jolt of my eyelids opening was blinding, the mid morning sun burning into my eyes hurt like a bitch. Turning around onto my other side to flee the light and blinking a few times. Probably looks like I'm crying.

Letting my eyes adjust to the new lighting, I glance at my clock which read 10:00am. Looks like I slept in today. Moving to lay on my back, I rub my eyes slightly and rest the backs of my hands on my face. What was that, some sort of nightmare? Breathing in and exhaling a few times to make sure I was breathing steadily, I tried to remember more about the nightmare but came up short. Dammit, what was that?

Everything has been messy lately with Dream and my freedom, along with feelings of anxiety that don't help at all. Adleast one good thing can come from this, Niki. What a sweet girl she is, took me into her home at late hours of the night, gave me comfort and food. The world needs more people like her.

A smile creeps it's way onto my face as I think about the fun time I had last night, the agreement, (we'll sort of) and having a genuine friend outside my home. I guess the gods were smiling down apon me yesterday.

Finally sitting up from my bed, I get up and dress in new clothes. Something simple but cute, and putting on some shoes.

Looking in the mirror and admiring my choice, I thought about what to do today. I make my way down the stairs and into the kitchen to grab some breakfast before heading out. Taking out some honey bread I had made the day prior and putting it in a paper bag to take out with me.

I lock up the house behind me and set off for the day. Smelling the fresh scent of wet forest tingled my nose, a soft cold breeze floated by making me shiver slightly. Closing my eyes and just taking in the beauty of the new day ahead was amazing. Everything was quiet except for the soft tweeting of birds in the trees and the river beside my house running quietly.

Today I would wonder around the SMP and hopefully get some news from Niki about if I'm able to visit L'manberg. I just felt like today would be a good one!
