Rooks eyes blinked open and closed, the pounding of her head causing her to pass out for seconds before coming back. Too tired to fully open her eyes only seeing through the narrow slits.

She could feel someone behind her shifting, a groan reaching her ears as the person moved, pushing her slightly.

The memory was there and she knew they collided with something and the fire was going to burn them if they didn't move but somehow she couldn't care. It Was her fault that this all happened, it wouldn't be fair if she got to live while everyone else died. Maybe she could go to heaven and be with her family and friends. If she could she would've laughed at that... Heaven?? HA! She was going straight to the lowest level of hell so Satan could torture her himself.

The hinges of the door opening snapped her from her thought and she made an attempt to move, but failed. Her eyes opened once more and now she could see Pratt between her narrow slits of eyelids and lashes. The side of his door open.

Why wasn't he getting out? She blinked sheepishly. His eyes were wide open yet he didn't move, not even a single twitch.

"Pr..." She tried to call out but it turned into a pained groan and once more she lost consciousness.

~~Amazing grace~~ how sweet the sound~~

Rook knew that voice. His voice echoed all around her like that fucking song ~only you~ when Jacob put  her through those fucking trials. But this time it was Joseph's voice.

Again the sound of a door opening, but this time sounded very close, next to her ear close.

~~That saved a wretch like me~~

Shit his voice was so close.

She groaned out loudly and twitched her hand, her brows furrowing in pain but her eyes staying close.

His humming stoped for a bit before a sound of a wet laugh replaced the silence.

"Thank lord." She heard him breath before long his hand wrapped around her and pulled her to his body as if she weighed nothing. Shuffling
her so that she was draped over his shoulder.

She fidgeted and tried to get off him but his hand wrapped around the backside of her thighs, causing her to stop.

Rook forced her eyes open, the world upside down, worsening her headache as blood rushed into her head. She got a glance at the ruined car. A sob leaving her when she caught eyes of Whitehorse half out the windshield window, blood covering him. Staci's eyes were open and lifeless... He was dead too. Joey?

"Joey!" She screamed her voice strained. "Joeyyy!" She started thrashing in his grip but couldn't get him to loosen his hold.

Rook could see her head on the steering wheel but she looked passed out.

Joseph turned around and started walking towards the bunker. Her view of the car gone. The world red and orange. Foggy with the fumes of the flames. The earth still shook under them, the sound of mountains collapsing and crumbling, burning wood and occasional screaming of something and someone burning to death, she even caught a glimpse of a bird flying while on fire before it fell to its death.

He was still humming why the fuck couldn't he be the one who died, why couldn't she be the one who died? Fuck this universe for torturing her like this.

"She's gone child." He spoke in his soothing voice. "They are all gone, it's just you and I." She let the emotions free, screaming, crying, sobbing. But soon it exhausted her, her eyes closing and opening before everything goes dark.
~~~~~~~~~~~
The sound of emergency sirens woke her. Her eyelids so heavy, she could barely open them.
“Attention. Attention. This is the Emergency Broadcast System. Take shelter immediately. This is not a drill. Repeat. This is not a drill” a females voice came through the Radio box.
