Travis plopped his face in his pillow feeling defeated

Evelyn being the kind and warm person she is, gently sat beside him and patted his shoulder

"Will she ever return Evie?"

"She's your bestfriend is she not? Have some faith in her"

He sat up and sighed heavily "It doesn't look like she's coming back anytime soon, it's been three years for crying out loud!"

"Who knows? Maybe you'll be lucky and she could be at our doorstep ringing the doorbell as we speak"

*ding* *dong*

No...

It couldn't be a coincidence right?

The couple looked at each other with hope in their eyes and Travis sprung up from his bed and made his way to the door immediately opening it while panting to see...

"I'm so sorry for making you wait so long" The person said with a sweet but sad smile

Tears started filling up his eyes and he covered his mouth in shock before hugging her tight and carried her up spinning her around

"I can't believe it...Your back! Your actually back...I've missed you so much don't you know?" Travis said as she released her

"I know...I'm really sorry Travis, I just needed time for myself"

Travis stood aside and Katelyn's eyes met Evelyn's

"Katelyn..."

"E-evelyn..."

Evelyn spread her arms out and as a tear raced down Katelyn's eyes she ran up to her and hugged her

Hugging her tight Evelyn whispered while caressing her hair "I've waited so long for you to return"

They let go from the embrace and held hands

"Y-you have?"

"You left and didn't message us or anything, we're your friends Katelyn did you know how worried we were that you were never going to come back?"

Friends?

It doesn't hurt so much anymore

Katelyn then looked at Travis and smiled "I will always come back, you guys are my family after all"

Travis approached her "I'm just glad your back, it was a bit dull without you here"

"I've always known that I was the life of the party"

"You definitely still are" Evelyn said "Does anyone else know you're back?"

"I met up with Aphmau and Lucinda at a café before I went back to the hotel to fix a few things before getting here"

"Hotel? You know you could've stayed with us or anyone else in Mystreet, we would've gladly hosted you"

"It's fine, plus...I wasn't lonely"

"Huh?"

"I had company" She said as she stepped aside for the their eyes to land on a male with red hair and blue eyes

"It's nice to meet the both of you, Katelyn has told me the world of you two, especially you Travis" The man said as he bowed

"Such a gentleman! Katie is he...?" Evelyn asked
