Katelyn was lying in her bed while talking to Aphmau, Kawaii Chan, and Lucinda, the friends she invited over to her apartment
"How has he been Katelyn?" Lucinda asked
"He's doing fine I guess...How about you? How did the convention go?"
"Really good actually,I got a lot of supplies for my shop. And plus,I learned a lot of spells I haven't encountered before. One spell even had to do with bringing back someone's memory"
Katelyn's eyes enlightened "Y-you can bring back someone's memory?"
"Well as long as I can do the spell right I can-"
"Then that means we can bring back Travis' memories!"
"Katelyn using magicks for personal gain isn't really the best thing to do remember? It could end up disastrous and it might make him remember you less"
"And plus Katelyn didn't you want to see if he would still love you after...Everything right?" Aphmau added
Katelyn sighed in defeat "Y-your right,I just miss him a lot...I hate seeing that everytime I'm right infront of me he acts as if I'm a complete stranger"
Kawaii Chan spoke up "Well I mean Katelyn Sama you are kinda a stranger to him because he can't-"
"I GET it Kawaii Chan,it's just...It hurts for me to see that each time I see that he doesn't remember me is a time where I feel like he's straying away from me"
"You told us yourself Katelyn,true love will prevail in the end. Plus just be a little optimistic,it's what he would've wanted right?" Aphmau said
"He would have wanted me to always smile..."
Maybe he would've wanted me to smile with someone else
"And plus Katelyn,as long as he knows you exist there's always a chance for you guys to fall in love a second time right?"
She cracked a grin "Yeah,your right Aphmau! I'll be positive for him"
~Two Days Later~
"Katelyn I'm so glad you always find time to visit me,it's almost as if you were my girlfriend!" Travis said as she placed down a bag of pastries
Bringing out a croissant she nervously laughed "D-definitely not heh! I'm just your very worried and concerned bestfriend that's all!"
"You sure?~" He said teasing her
"V-very! W-want a croissant?"
He took one from the bag "Mm freshly baked too! Thanks Katie!"
Katie...
She gasped in shock "K-katie?"
"It just sounds like something I'd call you"
"When you used to remember me you did call me that,I'm glad to hear it again from you"
"What else did we do together?"
"Mm?"
"What were my other moments with you?"
She sat down by a chair beside his bed "Well there was a time where you snorted your milkshake out of your nose"
"Sounds painful!"
"Painful for you but entertaining for me"
"Is my pain your entertainment Katie?"
*thump* *thump*
"Absolutely! You always managed to end up in the dorkiest situations that got you hurt. Once you even jumped over a fence to impress me but instead you face planted into the grass leaving mud on your face when you lifted it up"
"And you didn't help me!?"
"Of course I did! Well after I laughed at you and took a picture" She then pulled it her phone to show him the picture
She then continued "But even if you did get hurt you always managed to keep me safe and away from harm"
"I know that I don't remember much but for as long as I'll live I'll always make sure your protected Katelyn!"
She hugged him tight as tears went out her eyes "That's all I needed to hear from you"
He broke the embrace putting a hand on her shoulder "A-are you crying? I-I'm so sorry if I said something that made you cry!"
"No no it's okay! In fact it was all I needed to hear to know that my bestfriend is still there"
"I'll always be here for you Katelyn! You are my bestfriend after all!"
She felt as if an arrow had pierced her chest but smiled back as to not offend her 'bestfriend'
Bestfriend...Yes of course...I'm just your bestfriend, nothing more
