 "Holy crap."
Mike and the others grimaced at the sight of 2 calf's ripped apart and spread out on the ground.
"What could of done this." He crouched down and looked closely at the lacerations that tread down the one of  calf's neck. "That's what I said, At first attack I thought it might have been some kids but the more attacks that happened to me and my neighbours...they got to brutal to be a humans." Scott answered slicking back his long hair.
"Vampires?" Fritz asked monotoned. "Fritz, Vampires don't exist and even if they did last time I checked legend says they don't attack like this." Mike said rationally. "Magic exists so why cant vampires?" Fritz retorted."Werewolf!" Jeremy shouted excitedly "Thats,impossible." Mike pointed at him. "Buuut could a wolf do this?" He turned to look at Scott. "No ruled that out the lacerations are to big and this was a one animal attack." "Puma,Cougar?" "Pumas can kill a calf and larger livestock in one bite and eat it, This thing kills in one move but then it keeps going and ruining the carcass more and more then barely eats it." Scott ruled out again. "In all honesty this looks likes a bear attack big enough large enough claws and teeth, barely eats it." Fritz spoke up. "That's a start." Scott spoke with hope that after tonight his livestock will be left alone.

That night they all sat on Scott's porch waiting for something to happen.
"Anything?" Scott walked out of his house and sat down next to them on the stairs.
"No..But I was thinking..." Jeremy paused. "What if the uh king has anything to do with this...?"He asked "What." Mike asked. "I mean well, the attacks started after the civil war what if he unleashed so kind of monster and its happen to everyone who lives outside the walls south of the  the city which is  closest to the castle." He explained
"That fever must of really got to you huh." Mike gave him a look of disbelief. "He has a point there are rumours that he practices dark magic, But why would he make life harder the more selling there is the  better the trading with other city's right?" Fritz made a point. "True." Jeremy said quietly. "Wait everyone shut up!" Scott ordered." Do you hear that?" He asked.
They stopped and listened, they heard squealing from a horse in the distance.
"Not my horses!DARN!" Scott muttered angrily "Come on!" Scott got up frustrated with his sword drawn. They got up after him not knowing what they were going to face at the other side of the field.
