Chapter 2

Eda's POV
Eda sat on the couch drinking her apple blood and looked up the stairs, it was the next morning and the kid still hasn't woken up it had been 16 hours since they had passed our upstairs "Hoot Hoot! Edaaaa who is our new friiiienddddd?" Eda winces **damn that damn bird tube gives me no peace** "none of your business Hooty just a temporary guest while she rests now guard that damn door I don't have you around for nothing!" Hooty grumbled as he returned to his usual position staring at the bugs longingly. King ran in with his "second of command" and ran up to Eda "wehhh! Who is that lowly peasant who dares come into my castle without my permission!" Eda sighed "King give me a break she's a guest and this isn't YOUR castle it's my house which you do work for to live in!" King looked down and nodded slowly then looked up determined "that lowly peasant will bow before me!!!" he ran off towards the direction of the kids room "that poor kid will have to wake up to him" speaking of kid there was a shriek from upstairs and some gibberish human language.

After alot more banging Eda turned her head to see the human in a pile at the bottom of the stairs and she smirked "good morning sleepyhead" the human looked up and blinked "so it wasn't a dream after all" Eda laughed "more like a nightmare" the human cracked a small smile and shakily stood up and looked around "where am I...?" Eda beckoned the human over as they perched on the other side of the couch "You are in my house, The Owl House, which is in the boiling isles!" the human nodded slowly "so this isn't some weird Florida city" Eda looked at the human "Flo-rida? Y'know what nevermind I won't ask" at that moment Hooty popped his tube in "heeellloooo! The new guest is here hoot hoot!" The human looked at the bird tube and screamed in horror "WHAT IS THAT?!?!" Eda started snorting with laughter at the horrified expression "That is Hooty my houses demon security system so no Emperor Coven guard can find me!" Eda puffed her chest out in pride "so anyway kid what is your name?" the human shrugged "I don't remember.." Eda nodded slowly "we need a temporary name then!"
