Chapter 6

Amity's POV
Amity ran through the forest rushing to the Blight manor before her mother found out she was not in the manor, the memory of her cuddled up to a human kept replaying over and over she shook her head trying to forget the warmth that had spread throughout her body and try to focus on getting home without getting caught

Amity climbed up the conveniently placed vine and gently opened the window and fell inside holding her breath listening for footsteps, she breathed out a sigh of relief **that was way too loud** she then collapsed on her bed and fell asleep

**The Next Morning**
Amity woke up later than usual as her siblings Emira and Edric burst through her bedroom door "Mittensssss!" Amity groaned and placed a pillow over her face "it's too early for this shit leave me alone" she heard silence for a moment and prayed that they had left but as the thought had crossed her mind she felt two pairs of arms grab her arms and lift her up "Mittens it's mid afternoon mom will kill you if you're not downstairs soon" Amity sat up and looked at the clock "shit! You could've told me sooner" Edric and Emira looked at eachother then at Amity "we tried to wake you up earlier you didn't budge just growled at us" Amity looked at them and tried to force them out.

After the screaming of fear from the twins had calmed down all three of the Blight children walked downstairs for their afternoon lunch with their mother and father.

"Amity this is later than you usually come downstairs you missed breakfast" Amity looked at her Mother who had an annoyed smile on her face and she forced a smile on "I'm sorry mother I woke up early to study for the upcoming abomination exams" her mother nodded approvingly "good that's what I expect for you to do"

The lunch was eaten in complete tense silence, Alador Blight had yet to say a word and was just watching his children eat their food in silence, he then sighed and stood up walking away to his study. Amity watched him then looked at her mother who didn't pay any attention to her husband walking away without excusing himself.

Lunch was eventually finished and Amity went out to the library to do her extra credit assignment to read to the children which she secretly loved. Once she arrived Amity sat at where she would be meeting the children and saw a familiar pixie cut walking around the library, she stood up and followed the person until she saw the human excitedly looking around the library with no other than her older twin siblings.

Luz's POV
Eda had sent Luz out to return her books to the library, Luz loved libraries she loves fantasy and adventure books but sometimes she couldn't focus long enough to read long books but she loved "The Good Witch Azura" it made her feel like she belonged even if she couldn't remember why but they made her safe and happy.

She was walking through the library exploring when two identical twins came up to her "Hello!" The twins smiled at her and stood in front of her blocking her path "you seem cool why don't you join us?" Luz looked around uncomfortable "I-I don't know you..." the twins shrugged "our names are Emira and Edric there now you know us" Emira smiled "come on cutie we're cool kids" Luz pondered for a moment and nodded "okay... my name is Luna by the way!" She smiled slightly "nice to meet you both".

After an hour of adventuring the library with the twins they turned around and froze, Luz followed where they are looking and saw the witch from yesterday and froze "Mittens heyyy!" This "Mittens" looked at Luz and a flash of recognition went through her eyes "why are you with the human" Edric and Emira looked at eachother then back at Mittens "she's cool so much cooler than you mittens" Mittens face slowly got more and more red and she stormed away. Luz looked after her and then back at the twins "come on Luna you're so much cooler let's go" Luz shook her head and followed after Mittens.
