Chapter 5

Eda's POV
She gently walked up the stairs with Luna in her arms and placed her on the floor on her sleeping bad and inspected her face for any damage "doesn't seem to be anything broken.. thank god the kid didn't deserve that" Eda stood up and slowly closed the door and went to her nest looking out the window.

In The Morning Luz's POV
Luz woke up feeling sore all over, she groaned as she slowly sat up and looked out the window "the sun is just rising huh... guess my home and the boiling isles aren't that different" suddenly a memory came barrelling into her "My name is ..z Noceda!!" Luz gasped as the memory came to mind "N-Noceda...? Is that my name?" She curled into a ball holding her head sniffling softly "W-who am I..."

Eda's POV
Eda woke up to the soft sound of crying from the humans room, she groaned as she sat up and started trudging to the source of the sound. She gently knocked on the door and hear a muffled "come in.." she slowly opened the door and saw a curled up lump under a blanket and she sighed quietly "kid tell me what's wrong" Luna's head slowly peeked out and she could see her tear-stricken face "I-I remembered something" Eda perked up at that "And that is?" Luna started crying more "hey hey take your time kid" Eda slowly went over and hugged Luna who flinched harshly at the contact but slowly melted into the hug crying hard. After a few minutes of almost silence except for Luna's crying Eda felt Luna fall asleep against her "wow this kid likes to sleep.. poor kid" Eda gently moved Luna into her sleeping bag and kisses her head gently "sleep well kiddo"

Two Hours Later
Eda heard Luna started to move upstairs and decided to go check on her, when she walked in Luna was nowhere to be found Eda felt panic rise in her chest "kid? Kid where are you?" She saw the window open and footprints leading into the forest "shit! That forest is dangerous alone" Eda grabbed Owlbert and ran out the owl house in the direction of where the footprints led

Luz's POV
Luz sprinted through the forest as fast as she could, breathing heavily due to her unfitness "W-where did it go.." She fell to her knees out of breath and looked around "that book was all I had left of my human life..."

She heard a rustle to her left and snapped her head towards the sound as she heard a soft growling sound she tried to stand up but fell down and started crawling backwards away from the sound, as she crawled away the sound got closer and closer as a tall wolf revealed itself to her, Luz gasped and backed against the tree "o-oh n-no please not now" the wolf slowly moved forward growling deeply fangs bared until it stopped right in front of Luz and licked her gently, Luz blinked in confusion "W-what huh- you- what?" The wolf grunted and lay down next to her, it was a dark brown wolf with golden eyes which followed her every movement, Luz slowly put her hand onto the wolf's head and started to pet it.

At that moment Eda burst into the clearing and saw Luz and the wolf "stay away from my kid!" She drew a circle and was about to cast the spell until she heard "Eda wait! No the wolf is friendly!" Eda broke the spell circle and looked at the scene in front of her, the wolf was cuddled up to Luna (Luz) and the human smiling at the wolf, Eda looked around "why are you out here Luna?" Luz looked down at the ground "a small creature stole the only thing from my home a small book I don't know where it ran off to"

At that moment a small creature holding "The Good Witch Azura" stumbled into the clearing, the wolf growled and pounced onto the creature grabbing the book in its jaw, Luz watched and blinked "woah" Eda laughed softly "the wolf seems to have taken a liking to you well the werewolf anyway" the wolf froze and side-eyed Eda, Eda smirked "I would have hexed you long ago if you hadn't of been close to my kid now give me the book and be on your way" the wolf looked at Luz but slowly dropped the book and ran in the direction towards BonesBorough.

Later That Day
"How did you know it was a werewolf Eda?" Eda smiled at Luz "it was bigger than any normal wolves around and it clearly had alot of intelligence, but Luna be careful don't go into the forest without me" Luz nodded and stood up "goodnight Eda!" She ran upstairs with her book and Eda was left watching her smiling.
