The day after Yumika joined the group, they were preparing for their journey back to Asgard. They packed all of their things and they also planned to buy clothes and some equipment for Yumika. At the marketplace Muse and Charlotte accompanied Yumika to buy clothes. Hiro and Feather went to the airport to get their tickets, While Kuro went to buy equipment both for himself and the girl. It was when he bought a sword for Yumi that he heard a slave dealer and a master talking about the escaping slave. He heard that a slave could never leave the master's side if the master forbid them.
Out of curiousity Kuro joined the conversation and asked the dealer about Helios' slavery law. The dealer said that people could become a slave if they signed the slave contract and could only be erased by paying a huge sum of money to a slave dealer. There were 3 slave marks colour. Gray, red, and black. The gray was the mark for slaves who didn't have a master. These kind of slave couldn't be bought by people except slave dealers. These slaves also couldn't go outside Helios. Kuro after hearing what the dealer had said suddenly reminded of Yumika's slave mark on her back. It was dragon head shape with gray colour. Kuro was deep in though about Yumi's slave mark when the dealer continue his explanation. The red colour meant the slaves were owned by a dealer. This kind of slaves was the only one who could be bought by all people. And the last one with blacked mark. The black mark meant that the slaves already had a master to serve. This was the only slave mark that allowed the slave condition to be instantly notified to the master. The red and black colour slave mark allowed the slave to go out of helios if the owner gave permission for the slave to go.
After hearing all of that explanation Kuro asked the safety of the owner in case the slave rebelled. The dealer answered with confident that except the slave was mind controlled by a strong spellcaster or the master turned off the protection, the slave wouldn't be able to attack the owner as the slave mark would burn them til the slave fainted.
After hearing all he wanted, Kuro walked away and though about the decision he had to make if he really wanted to save Yumi. While he was deep in though, feather called him from far away. Kuro immediately ran to him and asked for his help to arrange somethings.
Feather :"So you really wanted to save her from the bottom of your heart. But you know slave owner often hated by
people in our country as we ban slavery anyway."
Kuro :"Is it possible to erase the slave mark in Asgard?"
Feather :"I am afraid to say but slave mark can only be erased by the country which placed the mark."
Kuro :"I see, anyway can you help me to arrange Yumika's form for joining into the military and allow me having a
slave even though i am a soldier?"
Feather :"I can help you with that but i don't know if the others will accept you kindly."
Kuro :"That's already far than enough, thank you commander."
Kuro left right after that.
(Feather) :"He sure reminds me of my old friend. Well i guess it's time to settle some business."
At marketplace, Kuro met Yumi, Muse, and Charlotte. He talked about the slave mark problem and decided to be Yumi's master. Kuro asked Yumi once again if she really wanted to be his slave. She answered with a nod and looked as if she was willing to follow him for the rest of her life. She replied happily that she would even sacrificed her life for him. Kuro facepalmed his face and left to meet the slave dealer as his priority was to made Yumika his slave. Yumi not knowing the reason why kuro left just followed him from the back when the other two couldn't say anything about Yumika's weird brain.
