Chapter 1

Maddie's POV.

I opened my eyes slowly, "wha?...where am I?.." I murmured under my breath and looked around with my eyes only. My eyes were almost closed just in case, -I could have been captured by were- before I finished the though I saw a timer going. -or this is just training...- I said in my head in an annoyed voice.
The timer said 30:00 and was still counting. I moved my tied hands around quickly, and I began to tug on the rope that held me. My wrists were red from struggling yet I still fought.
The timer now read 35:00 and that's when I finally got my hands loose. I sighed with relief and tried standing up. But that wasn't smart, I didn't bother to look if my feet were tied or not and I almost tripped. I looked at my legs feeling annoyed so I untied them swiftly and I finally stood up. I ran to the timer that now read 43:00 and I pressed the finish button and walked outside.
"Yep, you are your father's daughter alright. It's A shame that your older brother is getting the chief rank and not you. You just beat both of their records, I'm really impressed!!" The guy standing by my car told me and threw the keys at me.
I caught them mid-air "thanks" I responded and smiled. "and yes it is a shame that my brother is getting the title" I told him emotionlessly.
I opened my black cobra car door and got it. I slammed it shut and put the keys in ignition and drove off.
While I was driving I looked around, I grabbed my hidden blade and hooked it onto my wrist under my sleeve. I stopped the car and got out, and my blade was silver. I looked to my side to see a werewolf snarling at me, and I stared at him and then he charged. My face grew serious, and just as he reached me I swiftly took my arm and revealed my hidden blade. The blade found its way right into his stomach. The bright black blood coming from him trickled down my arm as I released him from the blade. He was slowly dying coughing up black blood and I smiled. "Should have thought before attacking me alone omega..lone wolves never survive.." I told him and he growled and ten smirked. "Who said I was alone?...they are gonna find you and kill yo--" those were his last words and he died. I scoffed "better get out of here before the police show up.." I murmured and opened my car door and drove off.
