Chapter 11

He moved closer to me and my eyes went wide just a bit. "Um....Ashton?.....what are you doing?...." I asked him.
"Isn't it obvious?...I gotta mark you..." He responded.
"Erm...no..take it down a notch Romeo...I just met you!" I responded and stood up.
He just smiled "I was just kidding. Like I'd actually do that to a mere human?" He smirked.
M-m-mere h-h-human.........so I mean nothing to him? Even if he is a werewolf he seems cold...yet I want to stay with him..
My eyes started to tear up and I started to cry.
Wait...I never cry...why am I crying?..
"Whoa...wait a minute...are you crying?" Ashton asked eyes wide.
He sighed as the tears kept spilling from my face and he stood up and embraced me tight in his arms.
I felt warm and happy in them and I could feel his warm breath.
He whispered in my ear in the tight embrace.
"I'm sorry Maddie...I didn't mean it like that...it's just...humans and wolves don't get along..and even if we did you'd die from having a wolf child. It's just to hard on a human body...I can't lose you.."
I blushed and the tears stopped falling and I wiped them away. "I'm glad..." I murmured to him.
"What?" He asked confused.
"I'm glad you care about me so much...but please let me try as a human soon...if the birth starts to kill me you can bite me then..." I told him.
He smiled and let go of me, "well...that just might work considering a werewolf bite can save the near dead people..."
I smiled back "alright, but first we gotta get to know each other first" I said sternly.
"I wouldn't dream of doing that to you without getting to know you first.." He said, and since it was dark outside still we both decided to go to bed.
Since I didn't have a room yet like I ever will Ashton let me sleep in his bed. I don't think he slept a wink because for some reason I felt he was staring at me watching me sleep.
