Chapter 18

Colleens POV
Today is the day for the family gathering. Josh and I are getting snacks, and drinks out. Lily is cleaning up her room for Parker. Her and Parker have a little "relationship" even though he's 7 years old. Jackson will also be here. He's 6, but Lily has never met him before. Bailey is 12 and turning 13 next month, along with Parker's 8th birthday. Jacob is 10 and is almost 11.

Lily comes down stairs wearing a dress, with a tiara.

"You ready princess?" I ask her.
"Why, yes of course!" She says with a smile. "but mommy, why is everyone coming over?"

Josh and I look at each other.
"Because mommy hasn't seen our family in a while!" Josh says.
"Oh, ok!" Lily says with a smile, and runs off.

"You know, we are going to have to tell her at some point.." Josh says.
"Yeah, but know isn't the time." I say.

I hear a knock at the door, I open it, and it's my parents, Rachel, and Trent. My parents are the first to walk in, and the first to hug me.
"I'm so sorry baby girl." my mom says.
"It's ok mom. Life happens." I try to hold in my tears.
"Princess, I'm terribly sorry." my dad says. "dad. it's ok."
Trent comes in and hugs me. "I'm sorry Sis." "Thanks Trent."
"Colleen, I love you. I wish this didn't happen to you." Rachel says as she's squeezing me.
"Thanks Rachel."
I shut the door, but someone pushes it open.
I realize it's Chris, Jess, and the kids.
Parker pushes everyone out of the way, and runs to Lilys room.
"Well then." Chris says.
Jess and Chris hug me at the same time, and Chris whispers in my ear.
"It will be okay." he says. I smile.
Jacob and Bailey hug me and Bailey is crying.
"You will forever be my Auntie Panties." she says.
I tear up.
"Oh Bailey. I love you so much."

After about an hour, more guests continue to roll in. They all hugged me, and brought me atleast a gift.

We are all hanging out, and I get a terrible headache.
"No no no.." I think to myself. I go to find Josh, and lean on him.

"J-Josh. my head really hurts."
"Alright baby, let get the pain killers."
Josh gets the pain killers and I take 2 of them. It still hurts, but I try not to think about it.

"Colleen, over here!" My mom says. I walk over to her, and we talk about Bailey/Parker's birthday. "I was thinking about having a surprise party for them." My mom says.
"I wasn't even thinking about that!" I say back. I feel my headache getting worse. I start feeling woozy, so I sit down.

"Is everything okay?" My mom asks.
"Y-Yeah. Just not feelin well." I say back. I put my head in my hands and close my eyes.

Josh's POV
Gwen comes running up to me.
"JOSH!"
"What is it?!"
"It's Colleen, she's not feeling well at all." Right when she said Colleen, I bolted to the couch.
Colleen sat there with her head in her hands.

"Colleen?" I shake her.
"COLLEEN?" I yell. The whole house goes quiet, and all eyes turn to me. A huge circle forms around the couch and me.
"Colleen!!!" I say. I shake her enough for her to turn over, and her eyes are closed. I immediately panic.
