Chapter 9

Colleens POV
I'm holding Josh's hand, tears are streaming down my face. I'm praying that he wakes up. Its been about a week since he's been in the coma. His heart is still beating, but it's getting weaker every day. Today my family is coming, and I don't know how I'm going to handle it. I've been very depressed lately, it's because I'm worried for Josh. Josh starts to move, which is a sign. I don't know if it's good or bad.
"DOCTOR!" I yell.
The doctor comes rushing in, and stops at the door with his mouth wide open.
"He's not supposed to be awake for weeks!" The doctor said.
"Is this good or bad!" I say.
"I-It's good! He must be waking up!" The doctor says. Just then, Josh starts to have a seizure.
"HELP HIM." I yell.
The doctor grabs his IV and puts it into Josh.
"It's his heart. His heart is very weak which is causing this seizure." The doctor says.
Josh's eyes start to flutter. His eyes open very slowly. My face lights up with a huge smile. I start crying right away.
"Colleen?" Josh asks.
"Joshua!" I say. I go up to the bed and give him a long kiss. I feel so much better now that I know he's alive.

Josh's POV
I feel myself waking up from a sleep that felt like forever. what happened? I feel my heart hurting like nothing before. I can feel my body seizing, but I don't know why. I hear Colleens voice. "Colleen" I though to myself. She's still here. She loves me! I feel a needle go into my body, and I start opening my eyes. I hear Colleens cry, which makes me feel a million times happier. I wake up, and see Colleen looking at me.
"Colleen?" I ask.
"Joshua!" She runs up to me and gives me a kiss that feels like heaven.
The doctor leaves the room, so it's just me and Colleen.
"Colleen. I'm sorry for what happened. I was acting foolish. I will always love you, no matter what. I'll always choose you." I say.
"Josh, you don't need to apologize. I'm just glad you're ok." She replies with tears in her face.
"The ring." I say
"What about it?" Colleen asks. She looks down at her ring finger and sees the ring is gone.
"Ohh. Right." she says.
"As soon as I get out of the hospital, can we just go back to our lives, together?" I ask.
"Yes of course!" She says. I lean in, and our lips meet.
"Hey get a room sickos!" I hear someone say. Colleen and I break the kiss, and we realize it's Rachel.
She comes up to me and hugs me.
"I'm glad you're ok!" She says with a smile.
"Thanks Rachel." I say. Out of the corner of my eye, I see Colleen smiling, which makes me smile.
"UNCLE JOSH!" I hear 2 little voices say. I see Jacob and Bailey run into the room, and they jump on my bed.
"Hey kiddos!" I say hugging them.
"What happened uncle Josh?" Jacob says with his little voice.
"Well, Uncle Josh had some boo boos. But he's ok now!" I say.
"Knock knock." I hear a voice say.
"Why come in." I say.
Just then, the love of my life comes in, and it's not Colleen.
"Hello there sexay mama." I say.
"Well hello there fine gentlemen." Arnold says.
"Wassup buddy." Arnold says
"Nothin, I'm feeling like I'm awesome. Ha! I'm just kidding! I feel like a million dingleberries built up into one." I say.
"Alright well I gotta run man, I just came to say sup." Arnold leaves.
I see everyone pull out their vlog cameras at the same time. They all start with "hey guys! So I'm in the hospital because..." then they all point the cameras at me. I don't know which one I look at, so of course, I look at Colleens.
"Hey guys! Look at me! I'm alive!" I say. A few minutes later, there is a small knock at the door. It's just me and Colleen now.
"Come in." I say.
The door slowly opens, and Kory is standing in the doorway. I feel anger, yet sorry.
"He-Hey Josh. H-How you feelin?" He says. I can see he is nervous.
"I'm alright. I'm sorry for being a total jerk." I say.
"It's ok. I'm sorry I had to keep secrets from you with Colleen." Kory says.
"You shouldn't be apologizing Kory!" I say.
We pull in for a "bro-hug". Kory leaves, and Colleen climbs on my bed, and kisses my cheek.
"I'm glad to have my snoopy." She says.
"I'm glad to have my Fraggle." I say back.

{A WEEK LATER}

Colleens POV
Today Josh and I are leaving the Hospital. Thank god we are leaving, because I HATE this place.
"Alright Mr.Evans you're free to go! I just need you to sign here, here, and here." They doctor points at the signature blanks. Josh signs them, and we take off.
"First off, TOO STARBUCKS!" Josh says. I need my coffee. I feel like a 50 year old without it.
"Ok baby." I say
We get our Starbucks and drive home.
About 20 minutes later we arrive home. We unlock the Apartment and my family and Josh's family jumps up and yells "SURPRISE!" Josh and I stand in the door, looking at everyone.
"What?" My mom asks.
"LETS PARTY TILL WERE PURPLE!" Josh and I say in unison.

Josh's POV
The Ballinger/Evans family is partying our butts off! We are having an awesome time, and I have to say, I already knew about the party. But Colleen isn't expecting something.
"Colleen, can you come here for a sec?" I ask. She obviously says yes, and I take her into the living room. There is a platform that has a chair on it, with flowers. Colleen sits on the chair, and I hold her hand.
"Colleen. I'm not sure if you were expecting all of this, but do you know what's about to happen? Anyway, listen. You are beautiful. I will always be here for you, and I will always love you. I can't promise you money, o-or everything, but I can promise you, me. So with that being said, Colleen Mae Ballinger, will you have the honor in loving me forever, and will you marry me?" I get down on one knee, and everyone is standing behind me watching.
"Yes of course!" She replies
She I put her ring on, and we just kiss like nobody's business. My life is complete, now that she's here. Everything is back to normal.

(A/N- OH NO IM NOT MAKING JOSH DIE. ZINGAA. But anyway, HII. Ok so I'm on my schools Track And Field team, and I have a meet tomorrow, so I will try to update my story tomorrow.
