Amber and her friends went about their business as normal.
Suddenly a girl appeared. "Hi I'm Scarlette, I have a message for you guys."
"What is it?" They asked.
"You guys have been asked to help Mysterious Magic with a mystery. What should I tell Professor Rosie?"
"Tell her that we accept," Amber replied. "Everyone in?"
"Yes" They said in unison.
"Good." Scarlette hurried off.
"Wait!" Sky called, "When do we go?"
"The week after halloween." Answered Scarlette.
"Ok, Bye" Autumn said.
"Halloween is tomorrow." Said Fern. "And I have a feeling that Vanessa is going to use the trick in trick-or-treat to get out of trouble."
"Yes!" Autumn and Summer agreed.
Amber whirled around. Vanessa had her wand pointed at Fern. Amber leapt forward, she wrenched Vanessa's wand from her hand just as it blasted bright pink light from the end. Vanessa ran off.
"Amber, you didn't tell us that you can sense trouble!" Said Hope.
"I didn't know that I could." Amber replied confused.
"That's weird." Lauren said.
"I can't wait for halloween!" Crystal exclaimed excitedly.
"Let's go we've got to get to bed, Oh I've got an idea." Fern said as she saw Summer's look of dismay.
"Come on" They walked up the stairs, Hope and Crystal went into one dorm, and Autumn went into another dorm.
"Liftio!" Fern cried. She moved Summer's bed into their dorm, just as Lauren crossed off Summer's name and added her name onto their dorm sign. They went in.
"Bed time." Sky said.
They climbed into bed.
"Good night!" Summer said.
