"Wake up!" Sky shouted.
"Hey!" Amber cried as Sky smacked her with a pillow.
"It's halloween!" Cried Sky.
"Let's go!" Fern said. Vanessa's not awake!"
"We also should have breakfast, and we need to meet up with Autumn, Hope, and Crystal!" Summer added.
"Let's go!" Amber and Lauren said together.
The girls threw on their navy blue robes and ran over to Autumn's dorm.
"Hi!" Autumn exclaimed.
"Happy Halloween!" Sky exclaimed.
They ran downstairs to Hope and Crystal's dorm.
"Let's go!" They eight girls ran into the cafeteria.
Ghosts swooped up and down, pumpkins flashed yellow, witches rode around on brooms cackling, and there were cat hisses and meows.
"Wow." Summer said.
"Cool," Lauren said. "Let's go get some food."
They went over to the serving area, they got bacon, toast, sausage, pancakes, and orange juice.
"Yum" said Sky.
They sat down at a table, there was one empty spot.
"Thanks," Vanessa said.
"Can I sit here?" A girl asked.
"Sure!" Lauren said hurriedly.
The girl slid into the seat before Vanessa could sit down. Vanessa stalked off.
"Thanks, what's your name?" Sky asked.
"Destiny" Destiny answered.
"Oh, Hey Hope, Hey Crystal!" Destiny exclaimed.
The girls talked until it was time for tryouts.
"Hey!" Kaya ran up to them. "Vanessa's trying out. There are two girl teams and two boy teams. Thought you might like to know. Good luck! Bye!"
They walked out onto the field. Like in the lunch line, Autumn stuck out her foot. Vanessa fell in the mud. Autumn fell too.
"Liftio!" Cried Destiny.
Autumn hovered over the ground, her nose an inch from the ground.
"Great save!" Lauren told Destiny.
They strapped on the boosters and took off. They shot, flew, faked, blocked, and ducked during tryouts.
"I saw the way you flew today, so Sky is the captain of one team and Vanessa for the other team." Ms. Cindy Yelled.
The girls cheered for Sky. Sky chose Amber, Fern, Lauren, Summer, Autumn, Crystal, Hope, and Destiny. Vanessa chose the team that she scrimmaged with at the Rocketball lessons.
"Lunch time!" Hope said.
"Let's go!" said Crystal.
They walked into the cafeteria, and went over to the serving area. Everyone got pepperoni pizza except Fern, who got cheese pizza.
"We have potions." Fern said to Amber, Summer, Hope, and Sky.
"And we have charms," Lauren said to Crystal, Destiny, and Autumn.
Clunk! Summer fell as a ghost hit her.
"Summer!" They cried.
"She needs to go to the hospital," Lauren said.
"Tell Professor Peter I'm taking Summer to the hospital." Amber said.
Amber trudged up to the 8th floor, carrying Summer. It took ten minutes.
"Hi" She said to Healer Ava.
"What happened?" Healer Ava asked.
"Summer was hit by one of the ghosts. She's unconscious."
"Oh no." Healer Ava said.
"Well I better get to class." Amber said. "Bye"
She walked down the stairs and over to the potions classroom. She walked into the door, but she did not see the shadow of someone in the doorway.
"Frostpetal!" Professor Peter hissed. "You're late! Detention!"
"You're not giving her detention. Said Miss. Rosie said Icily from the doorway. "She just took Miss. Summer up to the hospital."
Professor Peter Davis looked completely taken aback.
"Yes headmistress" He stuttered.
"Now get back to your lesson" Miss. Rosie disappeared.
Davis glared at Amber hissed, "I'll get you next time!" and went on with the lesson. Amber, Fern, Sky, and Hope ran out of potions and up to charms and were there before Lauren, Autumn, Crystal, and Destiny even got out.
"Come on, dinner time." They panted
They walked down to dinner. They ducked between the ghosts and witches. They had dumplings and shepherd's pie, and for dessert they had Jello, Apple pie, and chocolate candy corn cookies.
After dinner, the girls went to their dorms, put on their pajamas, turned off the lights, climbed into bed, pulled up the sheets, and went to bed.
