The Only Salvation

I owe him that. You thought as you transformed into your titan. You landed on the ground with a big thud, distracting the abnormal titans. They launched at you at the same time, you had no time to think. You didn't hesitate to roar and take their heads. Meanwhile, Levi was shocked but grateful. He paused for a minute, processing what's happening, then he helped you. While you were holding the titans, he sliced their nape. You knew how hard this was for him. He had to kill his comrades. It was also depressing since his squad died in that forest.

Soon, all titans were killed. You could barely see from the steam their bodies made, but you could see Levi and his pissed features. He quickly went after Zeke, with you following behind. You wanted to get out of your titan, but you realized that you don't have any gear with you to travel. You saw Zeke and the titans he controlled. I can distract him- no... He knows each of my moves, I can't fight with him.

You were about to jump at him when he turned into his titan too. The explosion made you flip back. You put your weight on your elbows and watched the whole fight between Zeke and Levi.

"Stand up! What are you going to do on the battlefield?! Just watch as your comrades die? Watch Marley die?!"

"N-No, sir!"

"Then stand up, even though your legs are broken! Even though your arms, ribs, bones are broken! If you give up, you're nothing!!"

"Understood, sir!"

I must stand up, I can't let him fight alone!

"Eren... I'm sorry..." You cried out.

"You- you traitor..." Eren looked at his hands then he smiled like a psychopath. "You never loved me, did you?"

"I love you, I swear I do!!"

"You're a spy! You lied to me..." He teared up and looked down.

"I... I was forced-"

"Bullshit, you want us to die, don't you?! Maybe you should think about who you are calling evils!"

"I love you, I truly do. But not in this world. In this world I'm supposed to hate you, to wish your death, to kill you. But Eren," You lifted his chin. "let's believe that there's renascence. And in another life, we'll love each other, no matter what."

"Y-you promise?"

"I promise." Then you kissed his cheeks. He pulled you into another kiss, but now on the lips. It was a quick peck, but it felt like forever, in a good way. The time stopped, everyone and everything disappeared. The problems, Marley, Eldia, enemies, titans.

You smiled at those memories. After coming back to reality, you saw Levi in front of your eyes.

"Get out, we're going." Then he walked away. You noticed that he was pulling Zeke's body by his hair. You wanted to laugh.

"Hey Levi," You called. You three were now in a chariot. Zeke looked horrible, while you were fresh and clean. You even got a blanket.

"What is it?"

"How was Eren doing after we left?" You mumbled but he could hear.

"..."

"Levi-"

"Let's just say, he was not himself." He cut it short.

"O-oh... Okay..."

"And you? Were you happy?"

"Nope. I wasn't. I was never happy. When I came back, I was happy to meet my commander and my comrades. I missed Porco even though he's an ass." You chuckled. "But that's all." I like Eldia better...

"Understood."
The whole ride was silent until Zeke started to mumble something. Then all of sudden, he yelled.

"Watch me, Mr. Xaver!!" 

Wasn't Mr. Xaver his- oh no. You turned around but it was too late to stop the explosion.
Darkness followed and your ears were beeping. You couldn't hear a single thing, the silence was too loud. The world just disappeared, it was only you and your sister.

"Morgan?..."

"Y/N." She smiled. Her smile is everything, it was like an angel's smile.

"What- am I dead?"

"No, not yet." She walked closer and kneeled in front of you. "I just came to visit."

"What happened?"

"Zeke made an explosion which made you go fly into the big blue skies with Levi. But don't worry, you'll regenerate."

"What about Levi? He won't-"

"That's right, he won't." She stood up and started to fade. "Remember Y/N, I'm proud." Then she disappeared.
You didn't need much, you broke out into crying. You were a sobbing mess while tears were streaming down on your face. Seeing your dead sister who you ate, saying that she's proud.

"Am I... Somebody?"
