From One Hand to the Other

After we joined the Training Camp, things were harder. We had to keep the distance between us and the Island's residents but Annie did well and Bertholdt too. Only me and Reiner were the ones who made friends there and I even had a crush on a kid. Soon, I realized it wasn't a simple crush...more like love. It all happened slowly, and then it hit me. I've fallen in love.

"Y/N, right?" someone asked me. I turned around and saw boy with brown hair and turquoise eyes.

"Yes, that's my name... Do you need anything?"

"W-well..." I noticed that one of his hands were behind his back. I looked back to his face, his head was down but I could see he was blushing.

"Are you okay, you seem-"

"I bought this for you!" He blurted out as he brought his hands back. In it there was a rose.

"O-oh." I took it and examined it. "It's very beautiful..." I said quetly as I blushed.

"Just like you..." He murmured. After I studied the flower I looked back at him. His head was up but looking into a different direction. "By the way... My name is Eren. Eren Yeager."

"Y/N L/N." I smiled widely.

"D-do you want to have lunch with me after training?..."

"I would love to!"

Then, we had a little date. It was simple, we only sat together at lunch. My first kiss was with him when we finally finished the training. Annie, Reiner, Bertholdt and I were shocked when we found out that Eren has the Attack Titan but it didn't change my mind, I loved him.

During the training we made a plan and we decided of where will we go after we finish this camp. I wanted to stay with Eren so I eventually joined to the Scouts. Reiner and Bertholdt joined there too, only Annie chose the Military Police.

"Eren?" I asked as I went outside. Eren gave me a small paper where he told me too meet in the backyard.

"Y/N." He called me. I turned around and saw him in his regular outfit.

"Eren, why aren't you in your pyjamas? It's literally 1am-"

"I have to tell you something..." He muttered as he stepped closer.

"G-go on."

"So we've knew eachother for 3 years and... well... I think I like you!" He admitted. I hugged him tightly and returned his feelings. That was the best day in my life..."

"Y/N, are you leaving?" Pieck asked me.

"Well, Zeke has finished his little speech, so yes."

"Alright, see you tomorrow!"

"See you!" Then I left the building.
I was heading home when I saw the hospital right next to me. I saw bunch of injured people. I felt sorry about them. As I was looking around I spotted Eren sitting on a bench. I walked to him.

"Hey there little man, is this seat taken?" I joked as I pointed at the spot next to him.

"Y/N..."

"I'll take it as a no." I sat down, still looking at the patients. "So, how's goin'?"

"Do you remember what I told you?"

"Yes, I do. So, where are the others?"

"In Marley too. But Y/N, can I ask you something?"

"Go ahead, Mr. Kruger."

"I know it isn't the perfect timing but... Do you still feel what you've fell four years ago?..." My eyes widened. Does that mean he still loves me?

"Eren- I mean Mr.Kruger... I...I need some time to think. I literally tricked you guys..."

"But you didn't want to do it, did you? You didn't enjoy it. It's not your fault."

"Thanks...and you're right. I didn't want to do that..." I admitted quietly and locked our pinky fingers.

"I'll take it as a yes." I giggled.

"So, what are you going to do to me after you kidnapped me to Paradis?"

"I don't know. I just want you to be safe."

"Eren, I'm safe here. You don't need to-"

"You don't understand, Y/N." He locked all of our fingers together. "I love you."
