facts about katsumi yoshida

- she's quite sensitive. despite the outer persona of a tough and cold girl, katsumi is quite emotional and can react quite quickly. if there's a serious argument between her and somebody else, then she'll get upset very easily.

- she hated moving between korea and japan and once expressed in an interview how much she despised having to leave her newly-found friends every few years.

- katsumi says that japanese comes quicker to the tongue but she's equally as fluent in korean. english is something she's still learning, but she's doing quite well.

 - she's left-handed.

- she adores butterflies and says that she wants to have some of her own one day.

 - katsumi was introduced to music at a very young age, with her uncle in osaka having owned a piano shop. after school, she used to come in and help him clean the pianos and he would teach her how to play in return (plus, he'd give her dorayakis too).

 - she claims that she wasn't particularly academic, but she did get some of the best scores in her year. she values education a lot, and says that if she could ever go back, she'd want to be able to finish school and have a graduation.

 - she joined jyp in 2011 at the age of 17.

 - she has very scratchy handwriting, and katsumi says that she's not particularly fond of it because sometimes it's hard to read the words that could possibly be meant to be used as lyrics.

- katsumi doesn't like sitting still. she finds it irritating and difficult, so even if it may look as though she's quietly sitting down, she will be fidgeting with her rings or her earrings, or playing with her necklace.

 - after she cried at one of got7's concerts, the boys teased her endlessly for it, and she got very pouty.

- katsumi's not the biggest fan of aegyeo, but the boys do admit that when she does it, she looks extra cute.

- the girl uses a mix of 'hyung' and 'oppa' when she's referring to the older boys. most of the time, she uses 'hyung' considering that it doesn't make her squirm and the fact that it comes quick to her tongue. when she forgets to use them, she has all of the boys after her!

- at first, her parents hadn't been particularly fond of the idea of her becoming an idol, but when they saw their daughter's illuminous smile when being in her uncle's piano shop, they realised that becoming an idol was what she wanted.

- katsumi is horrendously embarrased at her audition video and will murder anybody who brings it up.

- she's the hyung line's baby, and maknae line's mother and katsumi is very happy with that.
