Katsumi Yoshida ignored the avid stares and whispers that surrounded her as she walked past the long hallways that JYP Entertainment contained.
She couldn't blame them to be honest.
If she was in their position, she would be curious too.
Rumours had been flying around the company, that there would be a change to the new boy group that was to debut in just a month.
And that change could be Katsumi.
Her knuckles rapped on the door and a faint "Come in!" invited her inside.
Katsumi bowed respectfully at the inhabitants of the room, smiling at the familiar faces that she knew, before she took a seat besides Mark.
The CEO of the entertainment enterprise offered the group of eight a brisk smile, before wringing his hands and looking at each of the boys (and girl) in turn before beginning to talk.
"As you all know, JYP is going to be debuting a new boy group next month," The older man said. "But the executives and I have been thinking, that we need something different in the line-up,"
Park Jinyoung (the CEO) looked at Katsumi, a frown on the girl's face.
"Katsumi will be debuting with you,"
There was a silence as each person in the room regarded the weight of the CEO's words.
Katsumi's mind was whirling in shock as she realised that her dream was on the edge of becoming a reality.
She was going to debut.
"Obviously we've taken into consideration the risk of debuting a girl in a boy group, but we all feel as though Katsumi will be able to do well. She'll be a main rapper, visual and lead dancer," JYP glanced at Jaebum. "I hope all of you take care of her,"
The trainees all stood to bow as the man exited the room, each of their hearts elated at the fact that they were to debut.
They were going to make it.
"Nice going, Kat!" Mark grinned, hugging the girl. "You're debuting with us,"
"Thanks," The female smiled softly. "Ah, some of you might not know me. I'm Katsumi Yoshida,"
Jaebum extended a hand which she gratefully shook. "Im Jaebum, the leader,"
