The Beginning of the End (Filename: NCT Dream)

"Haechan!" 

Haechan turned to Mark calling for his name. They were in the practice room, the last ones to leave after practicing with NCT 127. 

"I'm almost done, Mark."

"We can't be late for Jisung's 20th birthday celebration."

It was early February and a day before their youngest NCT Dream member Jisung's birthday. The Dream members have decided to host a party. 

While Mark grabbed his coat, Haechan walked over and wrapped his arms around Mark's waist. He then pecked his neck.

"You look hot when you are sweating."

"Aish Haechan, we promised not to do this in public."

"Relax, there's no one here."

Mark loosened up as Haechan pecked his neck once again. Suddenly the sound of the door startled them and Mark quickly slipped away from Haechan. 

"Ew, get a room."

Chenle and Renjun were standing outside of the practice room, with a jokingly disgusted face. Daegal, Chenle's puppy barked in happiness. 

"Aww, you brought Daegal!" Haechan took Daegal from Chenle's arms and started to snuggle her. 

"Mark, Haechan's cheating on you again," Renjun commented.

Chenle squealed in laughter seeing Mark flustered. Haechan flashed an annoyed look at Renjun before kissing Daegal again, "Who says I can't love both of them?"

The 4 of them made their way through the city to shop at the supermarket. They have decided to cook and celebrate at their dorms. Chenle and Mark went to buy cake while Renjun and Haechan went to buy ingredients to cook dinner. 

Chenle and Mark passed a bakery display shop and took a peak. Daegal was barking excitedly by the cake displays.

"Say Mark hyung, have you ever thought about what happens when we tell fans of our relationships?" Chenle asked as he stared at a giant wedding cake.

"I would hope they would wish us the best, the ships that fans speculate about us can be so scaringly accurate sometimes," Mark replied as he eyed a vanilla cake.

"You made the Markhyuck ship look obvious."

"Haechan does, not me."

Chenle chuckled and motioned Mark into the bakery to buy the cake.

Meanwhile, Haechan and Renjun had already shopped a full cart of items and were preparing to buy the items. 

"Should be buy treats for Daegal as well?" Renjun asked as he eyed the display of dog treats.

"I have some in my room that YangYang gave that I can grab later," Haechan replied.

"You really love Daegal don't you."

"That's been a given."

"More than Mark?"

"Renjun, I'm gonna start singing your favorite line in My First and Last right now in public if you don't stop."

Renjun flashed him an annoyed look, "Okay fine, I was kidding."

Haechan gave him an evil smirk as they paid for the items. 

As they left the supermarket, Haechan got a call from Mark and picked it up.

"We just got the stuff we need to-"

"Haechan, are you and Renjun still in the building?!"

"Yeah, we're about to leave-"
