Turning backs (Filename: NCT Dream)

Chenle, Mark, and Daegal continued their way into the city, searching for Renjun, Haechan, and Jisung. 

"Wait a minute, hyung," Chenle stopped Mark and pulled him to a corner of a building. Chenle then peeked outside. 

There was an alien that was walking towards them. Mark covered his mouth to keep himself from screaming while holding on to Daegal. Chenle slowly loaded his gun as he heard the footsteps come closer to them. 

Before Chenle could move, he heard a shout. 

"Hey, you alien! Come and get me!"

Chenle and Mark peeked out and saw Renjun throwing knives from a kitchen knife set while Haechan was approaching from the other side, preparing to stab the alien. 

"Pabos! What are they trying to do??" Chenle cursed. "Mark, stay here and run if something happens."

"Chenle what the hel-"

Chenle dashed off before Mark could continue. Daegal started barking as Mark covered her mouth.

Haechan jumped onto the alien and started stabbing at the pipe-like tube the alien was wearing. The alien started thrashing as it started shooting at Renjun while trying to get Haechan off it. Renjun tried to dodge the incoming blasts but tripped over himself. He looked up as he saw Haechan get flung off the alien but he had knocked off its ray gun. The alien had turned its attention to Haechan. 

"F*ck! Haechan run!"

Haechan clenched his fists as he got up and faced the alien, trying to keep its attention from him. He waved his knife and hissed while stepping in front of the alien's gun. 

"Kill me. I dare you."

As if it understood, the alien charged at Haechan as he closed his eyes and held onto his knife.

"HAECHAN!"

Suddenly the sound of a gun could be heard. Haechan opened his eyes as he saw the alien stagger sideways. Haechan looked and saw Chenle, pointing a gun at the alien. Haechan turned back at the alien who was still disoriented, with green ooze coming out of the side of its head. Haechan realized that Chenle had disconnected the tube that was attached to the side of its head. 

"Chenle, that's the weak spot!" 

Chenle nodded and aimed his gun as the alien recovered and began charging at Chenle. Haechan and Renjun, who had gotten up ran after the alien. Realizing that the alien was too fast, Chenle sidestepped but lost his footing before he could shoot. He fell to the ground as the alien turned towards him and pounced. Chenle rolled away just in time.

He heard barks as he looked up and saw Daegal jumping and biting onto the tube attached behind the alien on the lower end. The alien easily retaliated and flung Daegal away. 

"Daegal!"

Chenle got up, dropping his gun, and ran after Daegal, trying to catch her. He managed to catch Daegal before she hit the ground. He looked up and saw Haechan and Renjun grabbing onto the alien as Mark appeared and picked up Chenle's gun. 

"Shoot it hyung!" 

Renjun, fighting the pain of his left ankle from the earlier fall desperately held down the alien with Haechan doing the same. Mark aimed the gun slowly, his arms shaking in fear. 

"SHOOT HYUNG!" Chenle shouted. 

There was a loud bang as Mark fell backward from the impact of the shoot. Haechan and Renjun also collapsed along with the alien. Chenle quickly ran to them, cursing at what had just happened.
