"Sungchan!"

Shotaro had awoken after passing out from the attack. Sungchan, who was near him before he passed out was nowhere to be found.

Just a while ago, they were in the living room reflecting on their year debuting into NCT. Suddenly, there was what seemed like an earthquake and the lights went out as the room around them exploded.

"Sungchan!"

Shotaro slowly got up but was still dazed by the blast. He stumbled around the room to look for Sungchan. He eventually found Sungchan on the floor near the hallway, a bookshelf had fallen on top of him. He quickly pushed it away with all his strength and shook Sungchan hard to wake him up.

Sungchan eventually woke up and groaned in pain. Shotaro cried in relief, seeing his friend alive. He hugged the confused Sungchan for a few minutes.

They found some candles in the house and lighted them up to examine the damage. Sungchan had to go to the bathroom to patch up his wounds while Shotaro tried to find a signal to communicate to anyone on his phone.

"Sungchan. I can't find any (communication)," Shotaro said.

"I don't think there's signal all over the city hyung," Sungchan came out of the bathroom limping but patched up from his wounds.

"What do we do?"

Sungchan limped towards the window and looked to observe the damage in the city. Shotaro followed and gasped.

"The last messages we got before we lost signal was from Taeyong hyung on NCT's group chat. We should look for the other hyungs," Sungchan suggested.

"Okay."

Shotaro and Sungchan made their way down the building, with Shotaro assisting Sungchan. They managed to make it to the floor where the Dreamies resided.

Before they could react, screams could be heard from the hallways. They turned and saw bursts of light destroying a door. Shotaro quickly knocked on the door of the Dreamies. When there was no answer, he knocked again.

"Help!"

This time, someone answered, "Shotaro kun??"

Shotaro looked at Sungchan with a relieved face, "Yes, Yuta san!"

As soon as they walked inside, they barricaded the door. In the room were Jeno, Jaemin, Yuta, Johnny, and Jisung. Shotaro and Sungchan were glad to see them. However, their reunion was cut short as there was a loud bang at the door. Someone was trying to break in.

"Jisung, bring Johnny and the others into my room and shut the door. Make sure to lock it," Jeno commanded as he and Yuta got ready to fight. Jaemin led everyone including Shotaro and Sungchan into his room. However, Shotaro stopped.

"I want to fight alongside you, Yuta san."

"No, you and Jeno go into the room, I will fight them alone."

"You know you can't fight them alone," Jeno proclaimed.

The door breaks open before they could continue arguing, prompting Shotaro, Jeno, and Yuta to dive for cover.

Upon hearing the noise outside, Sungchan immediately limped towards the door to open it but Jaemin stopped him.

"You can't go outside."

"And stay here to wait for our deaths?"

"We'll escape through the window if Yuta hyung doesn't manage to kill the aliens. We'll just be in the way right now."
