"Are you as nervous as me?" I squeezed Ant's hand as he used his other one to hold open the restaurant door for me.
"No baby and you shouldn't be, he is your big brother." He reassured me kissing my forehead.
"Hello we have a table for Hakeem." I told the lady standing at the front.
"Of course right this way he is already here." She smiled stepping out to lead us the way.
With every step we took my heart pounded faster and faster. Not only had I not seen Hakeem in a while but now I'm engaged to a man I never even mentioned to him. The last person he knows about is Tommy.
"Here you are." She smiled motioning her hands towards my brother. His eyes darted towards me as a smile crept onto his face. Looking over to Ant both of them looked taken a back.
Releasing his hand i looked between the both of them as Keem stood to his feet standing infront of them.
"Yall know each other?"
"Yea I didn't know you meant Hakeem Hakeem? I always just thought it was a coincidence." Ant said in awe as they pulled in for a hug.
"Hey sis man this is my homeboy." Keem beemed pulling me into a hug. His big frame engulfed mine as his scent rubbed all over mine. For the entire 26 years I've known him he always smells the same. Like a cologne but a good one.
"How do yall know each other?" I asked as we all sat down in the booth.
"Well ummm we Mafia brothers." Hakeem coughed out as they both put they heads down.
"Awl hell I don't even care im not gonna get into it." I rolled my eyes laughing.
"So since you brought my boy Ant aka your fiance, congrats by the way." Keem smiled raising his glass as we all clicked waters.
"I invited my girl. " I smiled brightly.
"YOU HAVE A GIRLFRIEND!!" I screamed to receive a squeeze on my thigh as the looked around the restaurant.
"Oops sorry." I covered my mouth.
"Yes and- ah there she is." He smiled looking behind us. He got up holding out his arms. Turning around I looked and saw the most beautiful girl every. She was like a little chocolate drop. She was maybe a little taller than me and had the biggest smile on her face.

They hugged and kissed before he let her get into the booth and they got settled.
"Hi, I'm Milan. (Pronounced Mi•lawn)" she held her hand out for all of us to shake.
"Serenity."
"Anthony."
"Nice to meet the both of you and what a rock you have congrats to you both." She beamed at us.
"Thank you so much." I couldn't help but smile at her kindness.
"I've heard so much about you both so nice to finally get to meet you. Do you guys have a range of when the wedding will be?" She asked as she sipped her water never taking her eyes off us.
"Oh no not really but we were thinking about June." I smiled giving a quick glance to Ant to see him with a smile just as big as me.
"So how old are you? We are both 26 and as you know my brother here is 30." I smiled sipping my water.
Hakeem choked on his water before covering him mouth as looking down.
Involuntarily my face frowned up as I looked between the both of them wauting for her response.
"Uh...I'm um...22" she whispered looking down as Hakeem kissed her temple.
"Oh...o-oh." I piper up realizing the gap.
"Well no need to be nervous or shy. A bunch of couples have age gaps. Its fine." Ant chimed in.
Her face lit back up. Well this lunch is going well i'd say.

"So baby what did you think?" I asked Ant has i hung up the keys onto the rack.
"I think it went well. Milan seems nice and Hakeem is obviously happy so everythings good right?"
"Yea. Awl babe everything is going so well and remember we are having the New Years party tomorrow night." I smiled kissing him.
"Yea yea ik. But why here?" He whined dipping his head in the crook of my neck.
"Baby we have a bunch of space for it and they had Christmas so its only fair oh and can yoy invite Hakeem and Milan for me im gonna go take a test." I said walking away.
"Okay I will but instead of taking a test right now...how abt we study for one first and you take it tomorrow before the party?" He said raking over my body.
" Only if you can catch me first" I grinned before taking off up the stairs with him close behind.
