Chapter 1 - Its Been A Year...

It's been a year since Corey was put in prison. He'd spend the rest of his life behind bars. He would rot away in prison, a lifetime to think over his actions. Was it all really worth it? Was it worth ruining your life to try and kill someone because they went a step further than you did with the same girl? Surely not... Right?

For Sami and Adrian, his year had been the best. No worries in the world. Two friends finally able to look to the future and not think one of them could end up dead because of someone's jealousy. Their bond was truly unbreakable, even beyond death, their bond would stand strong. It needed no effort, it was just there. All the years fighting with and sometimes against each other had led to where they were now. WWE Tag Team Champions. They stood together, united.

They sold their apartment they had together and bought a new apartment, far away from the old one. They took no chances, even though Corey was in prison, he could still do something. Neither would risk the other one ever being hurt again. Not after last time, Sami could have died. Everything could have been different. Instead of sitting eating with Sami, Adrian could have been sat at his grave stone. That was a thought he didn't want but that could have easily happened. One centimeter. One centimeter and everything could have been completely different.

Dean and Randy are always around them. They all went through something traumatic together, there was no way any of them could just walk away and never speak to each other again. They had an indestructible bond. All four, brothers for life. Every event backstage they share the same locker room, no matter the size.

Currently the four are sitting backstage at Raw. Sami just stares into space, remembering what day it is... one year to the day since he was almost killed. He shudders at the thought. That day he could have been taken away from his best friend. He could have unwillingly left his best friend alone in this world.

"Sami, you ok man?" Adrian asked, placing his hand on Sami's shoulder, making him jump slightly.

"Yeah... It's just... today..."

"I know. You almost ran away from me." A slight chuckle left his lips.

"I did. Can't believe it's been a year already."

"It has. It's amazing how quick time flies. A year of good memories. No worrying about anything. It's been the best year. We're tag champs, we kick ass and take names together. There's nobody else in this world that I'd rather tag team with."

"Dude? What about me man? I thought we were brothers?" Dean said, trying to sound very upset.

"I'm sorry man. I love Sami more."

"Woah, since when were we declaring love for each other? Dean, I thought you loved me and wanted to tag team with me?" Randy chirped in. He placed his hand on his heart, acting like it had been ripped from him.

"I do love you man." Dean hugged him, planting a kiss on his cheek.

"Oh Dean I love you too man." They grabbed each other, pulling each other into an embrace. They pretended to smoother each other with kisses.

"Uh oh, make out session." Sami shouted.

"Dude! Sami, don't tell everyone!"

"Too late." Sami got up, followed by everyone and ran out the room, finding a group of superstars and shouted Dean and Randy had a make out session.

"Sami! Dude! What about you and Adrian?"

"What? Jealous we do it every night?" Sami said as he jumped on Adrians back.

"Oh yeah. Soooooooo jealous." Randy said crossing his arms across his chest. All four burst out with laughter. Tears of joy fell down everyones faces. This was the life, laughing with your best friends. Living without a care in the world.

Now it was time for Sami and Adrian to go out on Raw and defend their titles. Sami and Adrian v The Ascension. Live on Raw. They came out to Sami's theme. The crowd rose instantly, cheering for the pair. Their WWE Tag Team Champions. Proud champions.

The match was a long one. Both Sami and Adrian got beaten down but they won the match. A clean victory for the two. They celebrated in the ring and then with the crowd. This was why everyone loved them. They were just like them. Down to earth and just damn right crazy.

Someone watches from a far. Biding their time. Waiting for the perfect moment. Who is this and what do they want?
