Sami and Adrian returned backstage, quickly working an interview with Renee before getting back to the locker room. They opened the door, seeing Dean had fallen asleep on the sofa. His head laid on Randys legs.

"Comfortable?" Sami whispered, careful not to be too loud to wake Dean. Waking Dean up is the worst thing to do. He gets rather cranky.

"Totally. We need to be leaving soon to beat all the traffic."

"We ain't waking him up. Have fun Randy." Adrian said with a huge grin, he was riding with Sami so Randy would have to deal with a cranky Dean by himself. How evil but how fun?

"I hate you two."

"Nawwww Sami, Randy hates us."

"Nawwww poor Randy. I'm sure he'll get over it one day."

"Bitches." Sami stuck his tongue out at Randy, gaining a small chuckle from the viper. "Ok, here goes. Don't leave just yet guys."

"I suppose we can stay to see how cranky Dean will be." Sami giggled.

"Dean?" Randy lightly shook his shoulder. "Dean?"

"Fuck off ass jockey." Dean said as he swatted away Randys hand and sat up, rubbing his tired eyes.

"We gotta go."

"Yeah, you'll be going to the fucking hospital."

"I'm sorry Dean..."

"Whatever, just let me sleep soon."

"Have a sleep in the car on the way to the next show."

"Where is the next show?"

"Cincy."

"I gotta go back home?"

"Yeah. I know there's a lot of bad memories there."

"As long as I don't see anybody it'll be fine."

"Let's hope not then. Everything will be just fine."

"No shit sherlock. You really are a dumb fuck sometimes."

"You should be happy with that D. Makes you look clever." Nice one Randy. Insinuating Deans thick, well done. Dean stood and punched him straight in the jaw.

"I'll wait by the car asshole."

"Dean... I'm sorry, I was just trying to-"

"Save it bitch." Dean swung the door open, making sure that he smacked it hard against the wall and then slamming it shut. He took none of his own bags with him. Randy would have to bring them out to the car. This is what happens when you wake Dean up and then insult him, even if your only joking.

"We'll help you with all the bags man."

"Thanks guys. Now I need to get him in a good mood again. Now that's going to be fun."

"Well you did just insult him when he had just woken up. Not exactly the best move there."

"Yeah, don't remind me. Let's just get these bags to the car and be on our way. Let's hope I can get him to smile again."

"Yeah, before he crashes the car."

"Yeah. I'd prefer if that didn't happen."

"Us too man. Let's go."

Grabbing all the bags, the three men walked to the car, Dean standing by it as he said he would. Hands deep in the next jeans. His head dipped, eyes glued to the floor. Randy unlocked the car, opening the trunk and placing all his and Deans bags in and then shutting it.

"See you guys in Cincy then."

"See you soon man. See you later Dean."

"See you." Dean mumbled, then opening his sidecar door and getting in and shutting it.

Living life on the road isn't for anyone. You get to know your travelling partner and become friends. Close friends, learning each other good and bad habits. Likes and dislikes. Just like Dean getting cranky if he is woken up by someone. He hates it with passion. Sometimes you have to do what Randy did. Just not the calling Dean thick part.

No matter what any of the four would do, they'd have each others backs. You don't go through what they did and decide, nah you made a mistake and now I hate you for life. This could never happen between these guys. They almost lost one of them one year ago, going through the though of losing one of their own solidified their friendship, their brotherhood. Of course it would be tested, what friendship isn't? This would last until the end of time. No matter what happens in the future, they'll have each others backs.
