KCWY Volume 1 (A Rwby FanFic)

Episode 5 Blackout

Ozpin the headmaster of beacon is in meetings with fellow teachers and huntmans discussing about the recent events that been happening.

"So let me gets this straight one of our students beat up fours guys at a nightclub surely he needs to be punished" Professor Goodwicth stated

"Of course Mr Cogan will get punished for his actions but we needs to focus on the situation, Thanks to what Qrow here has told us tonight, unfortunately we lose one of our greatest huntresses to Salem" Ozpin informed them

"Should some one informed Miss Rose and Miss Xiao Long  about this?" Professor Port asks sounding curious

"I honestly think throwing the news about her mother disappeared or potential even dead would cause  stress and sadness which we don't need right now, especially with the constant activity of Grimm recently" Professor Goodwicth suggested getting a nod from everyone

" I agree with Glenda about this, what is our plan going forward Oz" Qrow stated taking a sip out of his pocket drink

"For the mean time we should be on high alert incase she decides to attack, so we shall treat everything like normal until it happens, because we are going to needs all hands on deck to defeat her including the students" Ozpin explain. Even else not everyone agreeing with the idea they went along with it ; Ozpin was left alone taping away on his desk until he asks for Jamie to come up to his office.

A couple of minutes go by and after a interesting conversation, Ozpin gives Jamie a hour detention with Professor Goodwicth tomorrow after school, Jamie agrees with his punishment especially when he cause the fight in the first place.

Jamie renters his room and falls onto his bed face first into the pillow and sigh frustratingly into it, and then He rolls on to his back as Weiss walks past holding a cup of Hot coffee.

"So how was things with Ozpin" Weiss asks sounding curious as she sits on her bed 

"To be honest I was expecting to get expel from what I did at the nightclub from  the other night but it turns out I got a hour detention instead" Jamie explain looking up at boring ceiling

"Well it is your flaunt for having a fight with a drunken guy, but it was entertaining it was like watching something out Yakuza" Kyle stated as he looks at what Manga he going to read today, Both Weiss and Yang make a annoyed look in his direction.

"Leave Jamie alone, you don't know the full story behind it" Yang said sounding annoyed by Kyle comment

"He is right you know Yang, But also you are right as well because him or Weiss doesn't know the fully story and it something I really don't want to talk about at the moment" Jamie replied as he slowly rises from his bed and sits up right.

"So what everyone got a plan for the evening?" Yang asks sounding curious

"Studying like normal" Weiss replied

"Watching amine on my scroll" Kyle said

"What about you Jamie?" Yang asks

"I am going on a walk with Blake in a bit through the forest Forever Fall" Jamie informed as he checks his scroll to see what the time is and realise that it almost time to go and meet up with Blake.

As the reddish leaves gently fall to the ground like snow falling in the wind, Jamie and Blake are chilling at rock talking about stuff, Jamie explain what happened the other night to Blake and she had the same reaction to everyone else but she understood why though, suddenly they the leafs crackle and crunch as a group of beowolfs slowly approaches them from the shadows.

They attack in waves, Jamie handle the first one with a couple of slashes of his sword,Blake handles the second one by shooting it a couple of times before chopping off it head but then she was about to get jumped by the final Grimm but Jamie throws his sword piercing through it hollow skull creating a cloud of smoke.

Jamie grabs his sword from the tree he threw at and puts it back in his holder that located on his back

"Well that was unexpected, but to be fair, there has been Grimm attacks recently around Vale " Jamie stated as he slowly walks to Blake who refilling her gun.

"I don't know why though, like no other kingdom is experiencing this so why the Grimm are attacking here?" Blake question as she tries to think this out

"Maybe people are getting stressed out about something I don't know, the point is we shouldn't worry about it, besides there qualified Huntman out there that can deal with this" Jamie pointed out as him and Blake start making their way back to Beacon

As they we're walking back they continue to talk about it; until they parted ways while Jamie was walking back to his room, He bumps into Professor Ozpin walking down the corridor holding his hot cup of coffee.

"Ah Mr Cogan, what are you doing out and about" Ozpin asks as he takes a sip of his coffee.

"I am just coming back after a walk with Blake Professor" Jamie explain

"I see, well enjoy the rest of your day" Ozpin quickly said as he walks away.

'He was acting strange maybe he was in a rush or something, Dam it I should of told him about what happened earlier with the Grimm attack' Jamie thought to himself as he enters his room to be greeted by scroll hitting his nose.

"What the Heck!" Jamie shouted getting Kyle and Weiss attention that we're fighting before Jamie entered the room.

"Jamie can you please explain to Weiss that reading mangas counts as reading a book" Kyle demanded crossing his arm in frustration

"It doesn't because it got pictures not prober text" Weiss argue back as Jamie check his nose in case it was bleeding which it wasn't before deciding on what to say

"People would say that it counts some say it won't so can the both of you stop arguing please" Jamie informed them as he walked to his bed, sit on it and looks at his scroll; Weiss and Kyle decided to agree to disagree and not talked to each other for now.

After whatever that was, KCWY went down for Dinner but then the sound of Thunder echoes throughout the school as the skies turn dark it starts to effect the power leaving the room in darkness.

"Err what going on?" Kyle asks sounding confused

"I don't know, does the school have a back up generator?" Weiss question As she pulls out her scroll to create some light luckily other students do the same thing

"I am sure there's nothing worried about it probably just a black out being cause by the storm" Jamie suggested as they went back to their room, Jamie was leaving due to the fact that he can see in the dark, They made it to their room and chilled with their touches on until the power comes back on.

Suddenly a knock echoes, Jamie goes to answer it to see Owen and a attach Blake stick to his arm, Blake quickly detaches and wrap around Jamie.

Owen without even explaining anything hovers away back to his room which is a couple of doors down; Jamie slowly turns around with Blake still attached to him and hobble to his bed getting weird looks from his teammates.

As they talk for about 2 hours  before the lights came back,on the thurderstom had slowly past, Ozpin came over the crappie speakers and explain that lightning strike the generator making it overload which cause the blackout. While that maybe the case that was only half of the truth; meanwhile Qrow and Goodwicth are catching their breath after  dealing with a new type of Grimm that they made run away.

"I never seen a Grimm act like that before" Goodwicth stated as she informed Ozpin through her scroll that everything under control.

"Me either, I had enough with this for today, I am going to grab a drink" Qrow announced as he walks away to the nearest bar,Goodwicth follow him until she went up the lift to Ozpin office, she walks in and sees Ozpin looking down at his desk intensively.
