They reached the city and decided to go where they knew best... their house (house double?). They passed several people that looked just like other Night Vale citizens... They passed several hooded figures, Old Woman Josie, and a large group of children playing. They walked up to their house and Carlos led Cecil towards the back yard after trying to walk in the door (it was locked). Carlos threw another rock at the window and climbed inside. After he was inside, he turned around and helped Cecil inside. The kitchen was very small and identical to their own at home.
They wandered the house looking for anything that was out of place. After several minutes, they heard the door knob wiggle. Before they could find a place to hide, another pair of people that looked just like themselves walked inside. They wore the same outfits and the same expressions.
The next few moments were filled with confusion as both groups tried to get away from the other. The only results were two broken picture frames and a knocked over table.
The original pair ran out the door towards the wall they climbed down. The duplicate couple followed them, confused and wanting answers.
